Hi there friend.

You've posted a lot and chatted with some of the True Christians of this site. But I haven't really been able to read your posts, so I've only got their replies to go on.

You see, your writing is a huge wall of text and I get myself distracted thinking of shoes and makeup half way through. Thats why the True Christians of this forum are kind enough to leave gaps in their text - it gives us a chance to check the oven and whatnot without getting too confused.

If you could do the same, that would be a massive help to me. Capital letters also break it up a little bit, by the way. I tend (and I think some of the other women of this forum feel the same) to get a little confused if there aren't those obvious symbols of a new sentence starting.

Well, in the beginning there was the Roman Catholic Church's predecessor (which was founded by Peter the Apostle upon the teachings of Jesus Christ), this took place in 1st century Roman Judea. This was founded before the fall of the Roman Empire (Christianity was made legal in the Roman Empire by the emperor Constantine the Great, through the Edict of Milan), and was made the official state religion of the Roman Empire by the emperor Theodosius. In the beginning there was severe debate over whether the Church was to recognize Arianism or Trinitarianism (Arianism being the belief that Jesus was simply a prohpet, a holy man with reasonable, wise teachings, and Trinitarianism being that Jesus Christ was one with the Father (Yahweh) and the Holy Ghost/Spirit). The original Christian/Catholic Church was organized into 5 "metropolitan sees", Rome, Constantinople (modern day Istanbul), Jerusalem, Alexandria, and Antioch, each ruled over by a patriarch. When the Roman Empire was split into two (by the emperor Diocletian), the two versions of Christianity, that of the East and West began to differ considerably, eventually causing "The Great Schism", which separated the Church into two parts--the West, which became the Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church, and the East, which became the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church (from which the branches of Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, etc. derive). In essence, this means that neither religion arose from the other, they both derived from an earlier, universal form of Christianity.
