How did you hear about Landover Baptist? Through a friend, who was kind of upset. So one reason I'm here is to find out why.

What's the other reason? To learn more about Christianity. What's your view?

Welcome to this friendly forum! People here are fundamentalist Christians who follow the King James Bible of 1611 (preferably the Authorized Pure Cambridge Edition) to the letter. They read it and don't interpret (much). I myself find it very refreshing. If we are Christians, we should not be afraid of what God's word says.

I think your friend was upset because thoughts on this forum very much go against what we have been taught "a good Christian" should have. But I can assure you that Jesus is at work here and you will find many treasures if you stick around and don't care about those losers who just come here to be mean.

Karen, can you find any Bible verses on makeup, jewelry, and the appearance of a woman, and how it relates to GOD?
