No but a flight from my city to Japan (which I have done before) takes about 12 hours. The flight I took left at 11:00am, so it was 11:00pm in my time when I got there, if both places had the same day and night, then it would have been dark when I got there but it was still broad daylight.

But if you still don't like that example how about this? imagine you were looking out at the ocean, by your logic, we should be able to see all the way across the ocean, however, that isn't the case. You would see only until the earth curved.

You know, Joshua, my congregation (Second Baptist of North Salem) doesn't share Landover's belief in a flat, disk-shaped, circular-with-corners earth. In fact, I personally flew in one of those sub-orbital crafts and saw the curvature in person.

And a quick review of this site will show you how very scientifically accurate the Bible actually is.

Yet here you are, obsessing over the shape of the earth! A trivial matter when it comes to Salvation.

If the Sun's over your city, then it's far from Japan, so it's night in Japan and daytime in your city. What's so hard to understand about that?
