Where have I written anything about hateful. I am asking for you to love and not promote hate. Do not get caught in your own pride and assume you are my "Better." show respect, as i am giving you.

This is the INTRODUCTION section of our forum. Show a little Christian civility and kindly tell us about yourself, your church, and your walk with Jesus.

Don't spew hatred. No one wants that. If you'd like to find out more about Landover Baptist Church, please read THIS thread created especially for new posters.

If you have a question, use the "search" function before posting it. Most likely it is being discussed somewhere on this Godly forum. Please don't waste God's precious bandwidth.

How any single person who claims to have the love of Christ in their heart can promote these messages of hate is beyond me. In the few topics that I have read they are regarding homosexuals burning in hell or adulterers being condemned. "We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Sin is ever present in all our lives. Who among you can say that they have never looked at a woman with lust in their heart. If you have so even looked at a single woman with lust at any point in your life you are an adulterer and deserve eternal damnation. I thank the Lord, Jesus Christ, every day for the sacrifice he made so that my sins can be forgiven. This is not to say that I actively go around and sin, however, being a man, i sin daily and news flash, you all do too. It is by the blood of the one true God that we are saved. It is our job to be a shining light, "A city on a hill can't be hidden." "Let your good deeds shine amongst men so that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven." Not a single post that I read makes me want to get to know a single one of you and I love the Lord, how then are you coming across to those non-believers that have not found their way yet. Remember Jesus said, "Let the children come to me" He was referring not just to children but all of God's children from inside the womb to 120 years of age. He said that if a man causes one of His children to stumble away from Him then it would have been better if that person had never been born. You are causing people to turn away from God and mock his scriptures. There is a better way. Truth, tolerance, love. Christ spent his time with the prostitutes, tax collectors, and sinners. He did not condemn them but taught them. Spread your love and when they ask why you love so unconditionally share with them the love of Christ not the fear of eternal Hell. I ask you in the name of Jesus and all his teachings, preach love, not hate. If you disagree, please show where it is written that Jesus preaches any form of intolerance and hate. Jesus stood over an adulterer and protected her from the stones of the people. According to law she deserved death, but he protected her and gave her mercy.
