Because the origin of species explained all of evolution. Darwin's research was a gateway, nothing more. Just like Watson and Crick found the shape and structure of DNA, nobody gives them credit for the manufacturing of the human genome though.

So apparently you have not read it either, that book is called On the origin of species. Do you always base your beliefs on something that someone has told is about, instead of reading it yourself?

There's one source of information, another rather famous Roman apostate, Julian. You can Google him at 'Julian the apostate' - here's a short excerpt from Merril F. Unger, the New Unger's Bible Dictionary -1988 p.231

"There is absolutely no known record of evidence that Jesus was "enrolled as one of Caesar's subjects," unless it was at the time which Julian affirms. He says : "Jesus, whom you celebrate, was one of Caesar's subjects. If you dispute it, I will prove it.....for yourselves allow that he was enrolled by his father and mother at the time of Cyrenius." I'd say the oral transition for hundreds of years sits on its own accord. I've never even managed to flawlessly complete a game of Telephone in a classroom setting, much less likely to accomplish it over millions of people over miles of land in hundreds of years.

Facts:
Jesus temporarily died for us in the year 33.
The first Gospel (Mark) was written between 65 and 70.

I make that just over 30 years not 'several hundred'. I remember good old Ronald Reagan as President and that was 30 years ago, I can remember what he said, what he did and what he looked like. If I chose to write down these memories they would be accurate. How can you call the Bible inaccurate then? Are you a retard?
