In all honesty, does your life really suck that much that you'd rather just be a vindictive bastard to everyone rather than try to enjoy your moments on Earth? Maybe there is eternal life, but in faith there is just enough light to see but darkness enough to blind. You can't say that there will be anything after this life that we have, because you don't know.

Whether you like the fact or not, he was born in Israel, thus meaning he was Israeli. I'm not going to argue if he was human or not despite my beliefs because I value yours, but you must understand what an Israeli is - an Israelite is someone who resides in Israel. Hebrew is the ethonym of Israel, meaning that it is the ethics and culture. Arabic is a language, Hebrew is an ethical culture.

So Jesus gave us a Hebrew Maxim, although I must say Didymus Much makes a great point, I can't figure for the life of me why you would want to live in such an anger-infested mindset that you do.

Before you sprout out about how we might not know all about science either, perform a basic experiment - take a cup full of ice cold water and set it on the counter for about an hour. Go back to it and you will find that there is water on the outside.

That isn't magic. That's thermodynamics.

Those same basic thermodynamics can apply to almost everything, about how heat, energy, and the flow of channeled energy can change the world as you perceive it. The only reason it doesn't seem special is because you've experienced it since you were a kid - back when you took car rides and you breathed air on the window and wrote a smiley face on it.

One of my biggest concerns is how you eradicate the freedoms of women. We've worked hard to get as far as we are and there's no need to set the human race back hundreds of years because you're a bunch of narcissistic dickheads.

Yeah, it's great, until you actually read it and think a little bit.

It's basically, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", not "Treat everyone nicely and politely and smile as they go to Hell".

The problem is that these people would want someone to yell at them that they're sinning (if they were, but they can't because they're perfect), that they're putting their supposed immortal soul in peril of eternal damnation, so that's how they treat others.

They don't know who committed the murder, they find a button or a fingerprint at the crime scene and they match fibers and fingerprints on AVIS. They didn't start at the very beginning, they start in the middle, work to the end and then work to the beginning.

No, you didn't answer the question. You answered a different question. You didn't answer how Darwin explained the origins of the universe or of life. You simply claimed he didn't. Surely he must have had an explanation, for our little friend there to decide that Godly Creation is invalid in the face of Darwinism.

I hate to break this to you, friend, but Christians do recognize the fact of microevolution--that is, evolution within a species. Many of us have dogs and can witness it firsthand.

Darwin did not explain how nothing became something, how something became a living bacterium, and how a living bacterium became a bird. He explained that birds better able to crack nuts didn't starve to death, so they had more offspring.

Big whoop.

And that was what we in reality call a stepping stone. It gave us the ability to understand how creatures came to be from what used to be, because people had fossils before - found dinosaur bones, etc. Nobody quite understood and thought we just literally came from them. Darwin explained that we had a common ancestor; as for life - look in oceanic life forms. All life evolved around water and from water, things like algae for the most part and eventually mutations developed, sure it took several million years of trial and error before the first bug ever crawled on land, but that's a pretty small timespan when you consider that the Earth is like 4 billion years old.

I must say having read some of the threads here, here, here and here, I can only say this isn't Christian behavior, it's radicalism. If there is a Heaven, which is more or less just a subconscious state of mind to relieve the fear of the idea of losing conscience completely, I'm sure that prophetic inquiries will be made against people who beat their wives or enslave others.

The truth of it is that it's bigotry and you'd rather hide behind an insensible book rather than fess up to your own incrimination. I have my flaws; I'm a hypocrite, I didn't pay much attention in school, I say bollocks to career opportunities as I try to make it in a music gig, I'm an asshole, sometimes I yell at people when I'm upset, sometimes I cry when I'm too stressed, sometimes I lose track of the world between having a busy schedule and wanting to do my own things - but in the end I try to respect every person their individual beliefs and using the Bible as justification for belittling another person is not good.
