Too bad the same didn't apply to nan.

I found Jesus after my grandmother's passing. She used to always teach me about the Bible- unfortunately she never became a True Christian .
It is the same in my family, we are always passing grandma around the family members. None of us can stand the woman for a more than a few months (weeks) at a time, so we start passing her on to the next family member. She has dementia anyway so by the time she makes it back to us, she doesn't even remember leaving.

There is no note more pleasant than grandma getting into uncle pauls car and leaving our family for another couple months.

The logistics of your families dysfunction aside, welcome to the forum!

Thankfully, my grandmother and I parted ways when I was a foolish teenager. I recognize that she never accepted the true Jesus she is now in hell, and I truly want to know the true Jesus as well as I can, not just so that I will not spend eternity with her, but also so that I can complete God's purpose for my life, which I found can be explained in the following Scripture:
"In like maner also, that women adorne themselues in modest apparell, with shamefastnesse and sobrietie, not with broided haire, or gold, or pearles, or costly aray,
But (which becommeth women professing godlines) with good works.
Let the woman learne in silence with all subiection:
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to vsurpe authoritie ouer the man, but to be in silence.
For Adam was first formed, then Eue:
And Adam was not deceiued, but the woman being deceiued was in the transgression:
Notwithstanding she shall be saued in child-bearing, if they continue in faith and charitie, and holinesse, with sobrietie." - 1 Timothy 2:9-15 .

I can attribute only my own stubbornness (I'm working on it with God's help) to the fact that I was not saved earlier. Also, I was a rather foolish teenager.
