My Name is Leah and Jesus Just Touched Me.

Hi, my name is Leah Rebecca. I am currently searching for a church, as I just found Jesus recently (about a month ago). My favorite Bible verse is Colossians 1:16, "For by him were all things created that are in heauen, and that are in earth, visible and inuisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him." I found Jesus after my grandmother's passing. She used to always teach me about the Bible- unfortunately she never became a True Christian . On a more pleasant note, it's nice to meet everyone!

Why did it take you so long to find Jesus? If it took merciful God to smite your nan dead to open your eyes to His love I worry you may be a reactive Christian.

What sins kept you fron God's grace?

    Yours in Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

I can attribute only my own stubbornness (I'm working on it with God's help) to the fact that I was not saved earlier. Also, I was a rather foolish teenager.

Nice to meet you dear. I am sorry to hear that Satan is tormenting your dead grandmother in hell as we speak. Perhaps the Lord brought you to us so that you would not have to spend eternity being raped by demons along with your irretrievably damned ancestor.

Welcome young lady. It is never too late to knell at the feet of god. Tell me, where did Jesus touch you? What soothing words did he tell you that got your attention?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Thankfully, my grandmother and I parted ways when I was a foolish teenager. I recognize that she never accepted the true Jesus she is now in hell, and I truly want to know the true Jesus as well as I can, not just so that I will not spend eternity with her, but also so that I can complete God's purpose for my life, which I found can be explained in the following Scripture:
"In like maner also, that women adorne themselues in modest apparell, with shamefastnesse and sobrietie, not with broided haire, or gold, or pearles, or costly aray,
But (which becommeth women professing godlines) with good works.
Let the woman learne in silence with all subiection:
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to vsurpe authoritie ouer the man, but to be in silence.
For Adam was first formed, then Eue:
And Adam was not deceiued, but the woman being deceiued was in the transgression:
Notwithstanding she shall be saued in child-bearing, if they continue in faith and charitie, and holinesse, with sobrietie." - 1 Timothy 2:9-15 .

It is the same in my family, we are always passing grandma around the family members. None of us can stand the woman for a more than a few months (weeks) at a time, so we start passing her on to the next family member. She has dementia anyway so by the time she makes it back to us, she doesn't even remember leaving.

There is no note more pleasant than grandma getting into uncle pauls car and leaving our family for another couple months.

The logistics of your families dysfunction aside, welcome to the forum!

To be honest, it was Psalm 116:9: "I wil walke before the Lord: in the land of the liuing.". When I read that Scripture, God told me that because He still allowed me to live another day, it wasn't too late to accept Him truly.

It is, but it's too late for her. It was her decision.

Very beautiful. But not quite right. The quote actually is:
I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
We only speak American here, you do know it is Gods Favorite Language.

You were fortunate to have your grandmother leave like a diseased cat, crawling away to die under a bush someplace. My own grandmother was a persistent nag and complained about everything God did. One day, we took her to the bus station and bought her a ticket to San Diego. Best $27.56 my family ever spent.

It is perfectly Ok. We are all well aware you are just a woman.
When is your wedding day? There is nothing like a winter birth you know. Could you imagine ejecting a son on 12/25?
