Greetings, Brothers and Sisters in the Lord! I am most afraid that my current church has been pressured into appointing a homersexual minister by the liberal agenda

How have I come to find God, you ask? I have known God for my entire life, ever since my parents first read me their Jesus for Children books!

As for my favorite bible verse? I'm afraid answering such a question would be rather difficult for me. I love the ENTIRE bible, and I'm afraid asking me to single out ANY part of a bible that I love the -most- would be an ardous and weary task.

Nonetheless, I have found some solace in this Godly forum, when the liberal feminazis appearing to be invading the very heartland of America with their Propoganda!

Welcome Paul to God's favourite forum

I'm afraid your answer above is inadequate. We all love the ENTIRE Bible (notice the capitalisation) - it is God's Word after all. How can you say searching the Bible for a verse which especially inspires you is an arduous and weary task? It is a pleasure to read the Bible and is never a weary or arduous task for a True Christian™.

You will have to try harder than that so - what is your favourite Bible verse? What inspires you?

The one inspiring me today is:

        Psalm 46:8
Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

        YIC
        Genesis 7:5
And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

        John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

At least it's not a woman. Still, a church that would do that is no church of Jesus Christ. You need to find a Bible-believing baptist church pronto.

I hear you, but, just between us, the Bible does start dragging a little in the middle of Leviticus, don't you think? Too many rules and too little smiting for my taste. But I'm sure God had a reason for writing it that way. And He made up for it with some damned fine massacres in Numbers.

That's why the Bible says we should not suffer a woman to teach, but to be quiet.
