New to this forum and a little hesitant about joining

I have been a Christian for 13 years. I have asked Jesus into my heart and to control my life. I stive to live as He lived. In my walk with the Lord I have fallen down flat on my face, but He has always been there to pick me up and dust me off. I do consider myself a christian and do not claim to belong to any one demoniation of the church, but I do attend a Baptist church. I am 30 years old, married and have 5 children. Oh yeah, and I stutter. I have suttered since I was 4 years old. If anyone has questions on this matter I invite you to ask, however, to judge me or to tell me I am not a christian simply because I stutter will not be tolerated. I have read the terms of this forum and it says that any form of hate will not be tolerated. However, by the things I have read, it seems there is a lot of hate here. This is why I am hesitant about joining. Someone please explain your idea of hate. I wanted to join a forum where people could discuss the christian faith and help others when they fall short as a christian community should, but my start on this site has not led me to believe I will find that here. But, I am still holding out hope.

You will not tolerate the Word of God?
    Matthew 21:22

    King James Version (KJV)

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
If you have prayed to be more articulate, and God has not granted this wish, it can only be because you lack faith.

John 9:31 also tells us that God does not answer the prayers of unbelievers.

Could it be any clearer that you are not a Christian?

Friend, I think you are confused. Neither I nor any True Christian(tm) hates anyone personally: but when I am told that someone is an abomination before the Lord, I adjust my interaction with them accordingly.

(Proverbs 10:12) "Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins."

For example: when God tells me that it is wrong when people joo me while making a market transaction, I listen.

(Proverbs 11:1) "A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight."

It's just the right thing to do!

      Yours in Christ,

I never said I will not tolerate the word of God. The word of God is not hate. Jesus did not come to hate the sinner. He sat and broke bread with the sinner and tryed to show them God's love and mercy. I do believe that when someone sins we do need to show them there sin, but to condem them to damnation is not our place, it is not our right, and it is not our job.

God did not take away my stutter because I lake faith. He did not take it away because it is part of His plan.

We are in complete agreement. Nobody here hates you friend, and that is absolutely correct: God did not take away your stutter because you lack faith. That is exactly what I said. I agree that it is part of His plan. It may also be part of His plan for you to burn in Hell for all eternity with the sinners you hypocritically judge, while TRUE Christians(tm) are laughing gaily at your suffering from Heaven. It is with True Christian Love(tm) that I accept your choice to deny the teachings of the KJV Bible and thereby God's Will.

We don't condemn anyone to damnation. God does that. We just warn people who are either too stupid or too foolish to read the Bible for themselves.

Jesus only broke bread with the repentant. He taught that the unrepentant would burn in Hell.

Can you point out a Scripture where Jesus says that God has a specific "plan" for everyone? I have heard this before, and have looked over the New Testament in some detail, but seemed to have missed this part.

In the New Testament I was reading, Jesus cured the afflicted. Jesus cured blind people (Mark 8:22-26), Mark 10:46-52, Matthew 20:29-34, Luke 18:35-43, Matthew 9:27-31, John 9:1-12), Lepers (Matthew 8:1-4, Mark 1:40-45 and Luke 5:12-16. Luke 17:11-19), Paralized people (Matthew 9:1-8, Mark 2:1-12 and Luke 5:17-26). He cured women (Mark 5:21-43, Matthew 9:18-26, Luke 8:40-56, Luke 13:10-17) and men (Luke 14:1-6, Mark 7:31-37 and Matthew 8:5-13 and Luke 7:1-10, also Matthew 14:34-36 and Mark 6:53-56). In fact, as Jesus passes through Gennesaret all those who touch his cloak are healed.

There must be a reason He has not cured you. If it's this "plan" verse, could you please point it out? I don't see one place where Jesus says "well, I would love to cure you, and I certainly COULD do it, but God tells me he has a plan for you, so shove off."
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

Nice try, but you never stuttered ONCE there, buddy. God doesn't like liars.

Now, let's start again. Why do you want people to 'think' you have a stutter / speech retardation? THAT is the REAL question here.

Friend, as I said in the OTHER thread -

People NORMALLY write the way they talk. If they're uneducated it usually shows in their spelling, grammar and punctuation. Same with people with a speach retardation like stuttering. That means people who stutter / stammer probably write with stutters / stammers in their sentences, because that's the way their brain malfunctions.

I can see from a mile off you do not have a stutter, and I can't imagine why anyone would want to brag about it, or come onto a forum, and say "Hey, I have a retardation in the way I speak". So what's your game? Why are you trying to make people 'think' you have a stutter?

If I knew anyone with a stutter, I certainly wouldnt be telling anyone about it. In fact, I would probably disown them. People who keep friends with stupid people are bound for Hellfire, friend -

                Proverbs 13:20

"He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed."

From your message, I can guess that you either have a friend / family member with a speech impediment / who is a cripple / mentally retarded. Though I have yet to figure out why.

I am sorry, but I cannot help thinking that you are troubled by the news that your are, in fact, not saved, and that your stuttering is proof that you are not in God's favor.

I can assure you that if you pray away the stuttering, and you do it sincerely, you can indeed be cured. The proof is in such examples as Professor Bessemer and me, who are former homosexuals. There is no reason you cannot be an ex-stutterer.
"Come Unto Me. Put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath." (Matthew 19:14, Job 1:11).

No. Bestiality is explicitly forbidden in Leviticus.

(Leviticus 18:23) "Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion."

Psst... Badger... you're doomed! Leviticus 18:23 states that bestiality (and furries) are condemned because it is confusion. Read the Bible (KJV) and change your ways unless you like the idea of getting your tail burned in the eternal fires of Hell!

Friend, my idea of hate is telling someone things they want to hear which are not true and will not help them reach Heaven.

These are some common false-christian lies:
"It's OK with God if you're gay. Or an adulterer, like Newt Gingrich."

"God loves everybody, even sinners, unconditionally."

                              "God listens to everybody's prayers."

"Everybody goes to Heaven, except the people I think are really bad people."

"You don't have to be Christian to go to Heaven."
Each of these lies is soundly refuted by the Bible. Telling these lies are acts of hatred, as they confuse the listener and lead him away from complete obedience to God.

As you know, disobeying God is sin, and sin leads to unending torment, being burned alive for all eternity in God's Lake of Fire.

What could be more hateful than to steer someone to that place?
                              Bible boring? Nonsense!
