Please help me understand why people like you would hate me, and why my love for Jesus has forced me to hate myself.

I'm not sure why you think we hate you or any other dyke. We simply love you like any Bible-believing Christian would...

Fine...you want the truth? I am not seventeen, so that part was true...However, I am in New York, but I am leaving to go to India soon, to teach children English, out of the goodness of my heart...

So you're not in India, you're not teaching children, you don't go to church there, there's no "crisis of conscience", etc.

Do you always lie to people you've just met? Do you expect anyone to trust you after that? How can you say you respect ANYTHING when the first words out of your mouth are lies, lies, and more lies?

Excuse me? I'm not seventeen, for one, I'm not sure where you get your information...I was born in September of 1985, so I'm twenty-six. And while I reside in North America, I'm in my thirteenth month of my Peace Corps term. So you may want to try your "investigative skills" again.

Exploding with pent-up rage at the good Pastor will not make you feel better. You are confused and angry and lashing out. You can't decide if you need to wear a dress on a date with a nice fellow or put on a flannel and hang out with the dudes at Fennigans. We understand. But the only way to alleviate the pressure and inner-conflict of being a bush-hunter is to do the will of God.

This forum is filled with resources to help. But as of now, begin reading the KJV Bible in the Old Testament and finish through the New and you will see God's position on the matter and get a taste of his utter contempt for the gay deathstyle...

I am not seventeen, so that part was true...However, I am in New York, but I am leaving to go to India soon, to teach children English, out of the goodness of my heart...I will be payed around $7,000 dollars for the 24 months I am there, making my salary right around 3,500 dollars, so I'm definitely not in it for the money. I will NOT however be attending a church there, or anywhere for that matter. I DO have a sexual attraction to females, and that is who I am, and not going to change. I am an atheist, and I wanted a genuine explanation for why you would hate those such as me. I do not hate religion, I enjoy learning about all religions, including yours. I respect your beliefs as legitimate, and I am here to make a final plea of sorts to you, to attempt to do the same. I believe the earth is round and rotates around the sun. I believe ALL men AND women are created equal, even those who are not heterosexual, white Christians. I believe that the hatred and abuse of any soul is wrong. These are my beliefs. I may be wrong, but I don't care.
You may hate me if you please, but I will not hate you, because in the end we will know who is the better person.
