Your RE teacher put his personal opinion ("Gee, all the homosexuals I meet seem to be nice people, so THE BIBLE MUST BE WRONG") above God's Command to execute them, and declaration that homosexuals are abominations worthy of death who will not enter Heaven.

This makes him a false Christian, and a horrible person. He is lying about what the Bible says, encouraging you to be a homosexual, even though he knows it means you will be tormented by God in His Lake of Fire for all time.

Now based on that answer, is he a better or worse person, regardless of religion?

Hello all,
I have recently converted to Christianity because I had asked myself several questions.
One was that if the big bang was an expansion of the universe what caused the universe? I now believe that God created that first universe.
Another question was that if humans came from apes, how come there are still apes? There have been believable theories, however without hard evidence, you cannot say that humans transformed from monkeys.

Well, moving on from that, I was actually quite intrigued by this website I'm not sure you people have heard of before, but it is quite a good one and teaches people (well... it taught ME), and most importantly children about Jesus' love. I would like to know your opinions on this website. The website is Objective Ministries and I would like to direct your attention to the "4Kidz" part of it. God is all-powerful and all-knowing, by definition. Right? Right!

Therefore, God knows exactly what the Bible says, and can change it in an instant if He so desired.

This means that the Bible must say exactly what God wants it to. Right? Right!


For the Bible to be inaccurate, one of the following conditions must exist:

• God is either not all-knowing or not all-powerful, and thus not much of a god.
• God knows the Bible is misleading us into Hell, and is malevolent.
• God doesn't care what we believe, in which case as a practical matter may as well not exist.
• God does not exist.

Which of these is your selection?

Bear in mind that if you choose to follow a different religion, like Islam or Wicca or Hinduism, the exact same conditions apply. If the BIBLE is incorrect, then the false gods of those false religions must meet one or more of those above conditions, for they are allowing us to be misled to Hell as well.

As for loving our neighbor; who is my neighbor? Back it up with Scripture.

However I do have another question.
Back in my elementary school days, I told my Religion Education teacher that I was indeed atheist and he says that it was perfectly fine. I had absolutely no problem in listening and reading what they taught me. Those Christians seem like they are actually better people than the people here at LOB and I think that if God were real, he'd let them in first.

'Satellites' are little more than ballons on a string. Piercing the upper firmament would be breaking into Heaven. God does not allow that.

Ok, lets say the earth is flat and you're right and everything that you have just written is correct.
This also means that you agree that the moon orbits the earth, correct?

So please, enlighten me. How does this moon supposedly orbit something flat?
The moon would simply crash into the ground like a meteorite.
This proves the first law of physics. The moon orbits because of the gravitational pull of the earth. Also, if the moon orbits the earth every 27 days, then how does it become day or night between that 27 day hiatus?
This proves another point; The earth is spinning around and away from the sun.

You have finished junior high, right? Well then you should be very familiar with the story of Icarus and how he flew too close to the sun.
Lets assume that the sun is indeed 500 miles away.
Lets think back to the 60s. I wasn't born, but I can tell you that people have done it since. People have flown to the moon.
How can you not fry flying through the sun and going, supposedly, into heaven? Or do you claim that the moon is under 500 miles away?
Please over my argument before making baseless conjectures.
