    New user and wanna be christian who is utterly cluess and dense

    Hello all,
    I have recently converted to Christianity because I had asked myself several questions.
    One was that if the big bang was an expansion of the universe what caused the universe? I now believe that God created that first universe.
    Another question was that if humans came from apes, how come there are still apes? There have been believable theories, however without hard evidence, you cannot say that humans transformed from monkeys.

    Well, moving on from that, I was actually quite intrigued by this website I'm not sure you people have heard of before, but it is quite a good one and teaches people (well... it taught ME), and most importantly children about Jesus' love. I would like to know your opinions on this website. The website is Objective Ministries and I would like to direct your attention to the "4Kidz" part of it.       Well I told you how I came to find Jesus, but I do not yet go to a church, however I plan to attend the church "The first Unitarian Church of Philadelphia" ASAP. I do not have a favorite bible verse, however one that really sticks out is 1 Corinthians 14: 15 - "What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also."

      I hope this clears any confusion or doubt and if I come off a bit shallow or pretentious, don't worry, you're most probably taking it the wrong way, I plan to follow Jesus' path and not the Devil's

            Thanks for the warm welcome, in fact after browsing through this website, I have found that this is the most vile, disgusting and horrendous forum I have ever come across.
            Not only do you openly support rape, but you are so utterly clueless and blinded by your own faith that your obsession has caused you to drive you to the extent of doing whatever god tells you. Basically, if its written in the bible, then its true according to you lot. I want to pimp smack my computer.

            You believe that your religion is right and all others are wrong. Doesn't leviticus 19:18 tell you to "love your neighbor" and doesn't the bible also say hypocrisy is a sin? If I was in a trolling mood, I would use a VPN, trust me.

            How can so many people be so blinded that they believe that the world is 6000 years old? That is possibly the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard.... Wait no actually, the fact that people believe it so strongly that they go to the extents to complain about how illogical atheists are makes me want to puke.

            Why is it that you all think that homosexuality is bad? If homosexuality is a sin, then is homophobia a virtue? If murdering is a sin, what if you murder a homosexual?
            There is so much evidence that you are wrong that Christianity is only still around because your only argument is "Because the devil did it".
            Like fossils, erosion, hundreds of years of examination (98% of the DNA between humans and apes are the same, and the devil did it huh?), the fact that there have been cave drawings since 40000 B.C. and most importantly logic. The very thought that there is a man in the sky who was also a baby and a "holy spirit" is so stupid.

                Wow you read pretty quickly, and my oh my you respond quickly. I would like to point out the time of day. Or should I say night... no early morning will do.
                Should show what you do in your free time.
                So you're on this forum for 3 hours and 10 minutes straight huh? Or is it a coincidence like everything in the world according to christians is?

And yes, I'm from Australia, but I have more in common with my brothers and sisters in Christ here at LBC than with you.

                          The sun is further than the moon and you would know if you have ever seen an eclipse. The moon is most definitely over 500 miles away.                               Ughh what you just said made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I proved that the theory about the Earth being flat is flawed, due to it being directly linked to people believing that the sun is only about 500 miles away.
                              Proving its flaw proves that I have a chance at proving that the world is flat. Do you want your own proof? send a satellite into space and see what it shows. Watch the film from the moon landing and see the earth. Where is the corner of the Earth? How come after over billions of years nobody and no animal or sea creature has ever gotten to the worlds edge? Because its round.
