Hi John, I haven't "met" you yet. My name is Mary and I love the LORD! You ask why Baptists are an extreme minority on the world. I'm no theologian of course, but I think the Holy Bible explains:

Satan is vying for our affections:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour
1 Peter 5:8

The answer is of course faith in Christ Jesus:

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7

One must be on guard against the Enemy:

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

And the LORD even shows us how:

Clearly, Baptists are the only ones capable of doing this because everyone else has forsaken God by forsaking the Bible.

God cannot fail, friend, but man can. And does. Only when one has been truly Saved, can one escape the consequences of sin.

By what authority do you make this declaration? I can show you the authority of the Living Word of God in the Holy Bible, King James Version 1611. You have... your fallible opinion. Why do you think that would be persuasive to anyone but you?

I just find it pointless to continue the arguing as with your point of view we are all sinners and going to hell.

It is not my view. That is the view of Jesus, it's really simple. You don't have to take my word for it, take word of Jesus instead. Let's think again that example of kid born outside of civilized world and thus has not heard of Jesus Christ. Is he baptized? Does he follow Jesus? You know the answer to both of those questions is no. Let's look again what Jesus says about those kind of people.

Mark 16:9-16 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
