I was born a Catholic although I abandoned church-going.
Um, I do feel like religion is important and I do consider myself a Christian but I couldn't agree with some of the Catholic teachings. Also I grew bored of going to church.
I figured that it'd be a sin to go to church just because I had to and ending up staring at the watch the whole time.
Of course, I could not stay a Christian like that so I decided I'd take up reading the Bible. Currently read it all twice (I'm on my third time). Indeed, the Word of God is full of great moments and teachings! It has action, romance, comedy and drama. I personally love the way Christ replies to accusations.
That said, I'm bad at citing it because my memory is always blurry and I don't write down verses and chapters (I used to, but stopped).
I have to say my favorite Bible verse is Psalms 4:8
Ah yes, I joined this forum partly because I had a thirst for religious debates and partly because I was amused by it.
