    G'day Mate !

    Greetings from the land down under!
    I'm a born again christian from perth. I got to the Perth Baptist Church.
    Hope to have many deep and meaningful discussions about the word of God and his great commission to all.

    What is your favorite verse from the Holy Bible? Are you a married man? How many soldiers for Christ has your wife born you? Have any been eaten by dingoes or abos?
    Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

        I'm still in Uni doing my PHD. Its not really a favourite "VERSE", cos its more than one verse, and how can i choose from His Holy word ? My Mission verse at this point of life is that of Heb 12:1-3. I'm not married and definitely have not "arrows in my quiver". Oh and Yes, i have tasted kangaroos, too gamey and tough. You have to be heaps careful with 'em roos, they jump on to the freeway attracted to the headlights. Any idea how to get 'saved' to not be an unsaved trash ?

          For a Ph.D. student you don't come to me as very observant, as you've missed both the requirements of a proper introduction (how you came to find Jesus?) and the sticky thread in the introduction forum on how to get saved. Maybe that's why you are not married? There must surely be something wrong with you since you're not married yet.

            I like Hebrews 12. I especially like verses 6-8

            6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
            7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

            Sure I have ideas. I would start with prayer.
