By 'minister' he probably means spread his twisted concept of Christianity that he has made up for himself. If he had any balls he would give the kids a Bible each, leave and let them just chat amongst themselves for a few hours about the interesting passages they find on their own or the Holy Spirit guides them to.

The Bible does not need filtering or interpreting.

There is not one bible verse that allows you beat anybody, for anything.

Here are two:

Deuteronomy 25:2-3 And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number. Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee.

Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

Okay, so being raised as a Southern Baptist my entire life, I thought I had found a place of like minded people here. No, I was mistaken.
