Stop playing gotcha and lovingly shun your parents in the hope they follow you in Christ. There can be no fellowship with unbelievers and Jesus Himself said you should hate your family to follow Him. There are no contradictions in the Bible, sonny.

    Re: Seeking Christian guidance

Welcome Bob! I know that it can be quite shocking indeed to meet True Christians for the first time. You are probably so used to meeting the Christians who lure you in with promises of being "friendly" and free cookies. Know who else meets people by being friendly and offering free candy? Child molesters & Catholics.

Anyways, congratulations on finding your way here. This may be a shock to your system, but around these parts, it is all Jesus all the time! We are here to spread the Word of Jesus to the unwashed masses, and we simply want to be sure that you truly understand the Word. Sometimes we get people who come here assured of their Salvation, only to find that they support gay marriage and voted for Barack Hussein Obama. This is unacceptable, and this is what we hope to stamp out.

Welcome, and we hope that you enjoy your stay

There are two references available to you in my signature! Bible in a Year is part of this very forum, where you can join in discussion about the many passages of the Bible with Landover's finest theologians. Thank you, Rev. Rodimer. I will follow the link and hopefully learn more about God and his holy word.

You can't work out how to avoid someone while simultaneously honouring their decision to choose to go to Hell?

    Are you defective?

Friend, the answer to your question is simple. Who is more important? God or just your parents?
How can you honor anyone who does not love Jesus with every single bit of themselves? It is and always has been God, Country, Corps, Family, and Self

On the other hand, the fifth commandment says to honor my father and my mother. What does God want me to do when the non-believers are my father and mother?

How about you stop trying too hard and tell us the real reason why you are here and how much you feel Jesus's love swelling inside you fit to burst.
I apologize if I seem to be a troll; as I'm looking through the forum, I see you do get a lot of them in here. Probably Satan's minions, attempting to sway true Christians off the path. Believe me when I say, when I became a Christian and heard the good news of Jesus, I finally had that feeling of happiness filling me in a way that I have never felt before.

And, yes, Christians have been good at reaching out to gays and negroes and other, unsaved people who were unsaved simply because they had never heard the word of God. To the people who have heard the word and rejected it, though, those are the ones God's wrath is for. The liberals who want God's word taken out of schools and the homers who want to be able to legally rape any child they meet on the street and the scientists who try to say God lied in Genesis, those are the people we need gone so we can have a good, true Christian nation like it's supposed to be.

I ask you this: if I am sincere, what can I do to prove it to you?
