    Introduction

Never sure how to begin one of these threads so here goes.
Hello my name is Ami. I attended a catholic church until I was old enough to not be dragged there by my mother. Do not currently belong to any church regrettably.
Would say my favorite scripture is Revelations 1.8
"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."
    Always sounded so perfectly final.
I've always tried to keep a close bond to God since I was a child but older I get the less sure I am of how.

Oh indeed! I love the LORD's finality. Why, just a few short chapters later, He explains,

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire.
    Revelation 20:15

I love that! There's no wiggle room, no room for negotiation, badgering, nagging, begging. No special pleading, no explanations or questions allowed. No talking with Jesus to make sure you understand Him, no weaseling your way around having been a good person anyway, no whining about never having heard of Jesus. Very simply, either your name is in the Book of Life or you will be cast into the Lake of Fire!

    The LORD's ways are PERFECT!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

5 Reasons why GOD HATES WOMEN!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!

Indeed, Sister! The Bible is always so clear; false Christians like the Catholics go out of their way to muddy it up so it is useful to them.

Know what we won't see in Heaven? Any Catholics!
        Bible boring? Nonsense!

No my husband was an only child. But I wouldn't take marriage vows so lightly as to run to his sibling so soon anyway.

Maybe you should read the Scripture to which I linked. You need only to hover your mouse above it, and it will pop up for you.

Yes regrettably I did not notice the scripture before I posted. But does that not imply if the brothers share the same household?

I must say I don't appreciate the insinuation. Though I cannot tell if that was a joke or not. My husband was killed by a drunk driver.

So how many Soldiers for Christ did you give him before he died? Do your children make the LORD proud, or did you raise them to be Mary-worshiping catholics as well?

We didn't have any children. Still, would never raise a child to be catholic. Would damn myself before inflicting that upon my own kids.
