駋先生, welcome to Landover! I see the potential for Jesus to enter your heart. I spend many a year in real China (Taiwan) teaching at the 基督教青年會, which is combined my interest in 基督教 and 青年 and I know that, with the right training, even Chinese can become Christian.

I encourage you to participate in bringing others to Christ on this forum and look forward to dropping to our knees and worshiping together.

Felix, so what's the deal with your wall? I mean, is there something special on one side thats really worth the fuss of building a wall? It would seem like if someone would stand on your wall and look over both sides, it would all look pretty much the same wouldn't it? I just can't imagine anything so special on one side that isn't also on the other side. Wouldn't it be the same as putting a big wall through a cornfield? Same stuff on both sides. Well, let me know, now as far as your tithing, how you pay?

Yes, indeedy!

The 基督教青年會 is the Young Men's Christian Association. I taught English but also studied Mandarin as I longed to get to know first hand this Asian tongue I had heard so much about. It was a true exchange and my students and I touched each other with our respective cultures and our mutual love of Jesus, which is 基督 in Mandarin (but of course Jesus didn't speak Chinese!!).

Oh, those were the days! I remember having a bear of a time translating the 23rd Psalm. "Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me" in Chinese is a real tongue twister!

Felix, I'm really having a dilema about your so-called great wall. If your wall doesn't have an opening (door or gate) every hundred yards or so, it seems like a big inconvience to someone wanting to get to the other side. Maybe this was an oversight that the designers and builders simply missed?

After Mitt Romney gets elected and our economy gets better, say a week or so after his inaugeration, maybe we will build a wall through one of our local chinatowns and see for ourselves what possible use it may serve. Also, have you sent a check yet, maybe it is in mail, yes? YIC
