Very long time lurker, want to introduce myself

Hello friends,

My name is Felix, you call me Zhao too, it's okay on both ways. I was born in Henan, China in a poor family. I move to Canada 8 years before with my wife, and we plan to have children. China is very corrupt government, with many politician stealing money from people, all people are very corrupt and I don't like to live. All everyone care for money, no one care about their mental state. Is very bad place to live.

After moving to Canada, my friends tell me that people should have spiritual help, not just care about money. I attend to my neighbourhood church for 2 months now, and I feel very spiritually powerful. It's different from how I used to live in China, not everything about money like before.

Today, after reading this forum for many days, I decide to post myself and introduce myself. I need to release all my anger from others in society and do something to calm myself, where I can speak freely about my beliefs.

One of best thing about this forum is people use the same Holy Bible as me. King James version. I take some of my favourite quotes:

"But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money." (Act 8:20)
This quote very important to me personally. I have many times think about this in China even before becoming Christian. When a man die, they can't take money with them, but only thing they can take is their faith. Now I know that the faith in the Lord is more important than anything, I've given up trying to earn money like China.

I admit I did many bad things in China for money, but I want to change and not be in the same state, all I want to think about everyday is our Lord now. Every time I eat I say prayer and thank our lord. It's only thing that matters.

Please accept me as one of your brothers, I want a place where I can talk about all the things that included in my belief.

I'm sorry you were born in Communist China, that must've been rough. And it's a good thing you found Jesus, but I think we need to hear more about the "bad things" you did in China before we can welcome you officially. Were you a disgusting man-whore by any chance? And while you're at it, can you settle something for me? I don't think the Great Wall is all that great. I mean, it's a wall, big deal. What say you?

Hello Brother Porter and Captain,

My life in China very bad, very bad. The communist government have done great deal to destroy my life and dignity. I don't tell this to my wife, not even my closest friend know but I am willing to share this with those of same belief to show their evil.

I remember this very clearly, is something wrong with the Chinese culture. When I was nine year old, I work on wheat field with my father. That year is when my mother was to have a child. She is 4 months pregnant with another child. I am very happy, very happy because I have another brother to play with and don't have to do so much work. The Chinese government that year come to our farm because they are collecting money, is tax or something, don't know very clearly, from our farm. But in China farm don't get much money and we couldn't pay for it.

And after my father tell them we don't have much money, government agent become very angry and get into big argument with my father and mother. They say that if we don't give all us money to them, they take something from my mother. At that time I don't know what they talking about when they say that word.

After big argument, suddenly one of the government agent tackle my dad, and the other agent began to hold my mom and take off her cloths. At first I think they going to do sex like I saw my sister do, but that was not what happens. However, the agent pull open my mom’s vagina very wide and pull out the baby. Nowadays I understand the word when they have argument. They say the word “fetus”. It is because the agents have to pay with their money, they are going to take something from us to be worth money. In China, baby fetus soup is very high delicacy that worth much money. They take my mom’s baby and pull it out, and scrap off the outer layer and put it in our pot to make soup. I become very angry because they kill my brother, so I kick them. The agents take off my pants and cut one of my testicle off, chop it into many pieces and put it in the soup to spice up flavour. It was very painful for whole family.

As you can see from this example, it not only the culture that’s very bad China, people also have no moral and only care about money. It make me want to kill some chink jap slant chinese dog right now, because they are so very not good.

However for now I will not kill them because I know they will go to hell and burn forever for doing what they do to my family. I will go to heaven as said by Jesus because I follow his words. This makes me very happy.

I know this is dramatic example, but it is one of worst things in my life in China. Many other bad things happen, but not as bad as this. Maybe if you interest, I tell you but this is worst thing.

While you are correct about money tempting people into corruption; things like running a worldwide site such as Landover Baptist do not come for free; we are recognized in Thailand, Canada, USA, China, Australia, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Panama, Russia, Poland, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Holland, Uzbekistan, Tibet, Peru, Antartica, Iceland, Greenland, Italy, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Brazil... oh my friend, it gives me a headache trying to keep track and send thanks to all the countries that donate to us and who I have to send thanks to (in Baby Jesus's name) that I am running out of breath.

Our annual costs of running this site are approximately 28.7 million dollars and every penny we get is appreciated. I have been appointed (and graciously accept) the accountant duties here at our humble but God fearing church.

In order to keep costs down, I live in a medium sized tent with my wife and 12 children at the back of our 17,000 square foot church. We welcome you with our open hearts.

Do you get the feeling Christ has guided you here? I feel that even though we have never met I know you completely and can see you have a heart filled with generosity and compassion.

駋先生, welcome to Landover! I see the potential for Jesus to enter your heart. I spend many a year in real China (Taiwan) teaching at the 基督教青年會, which is combined my interest in 基督教 and 青年 and I know that, with the right training, even Chinese can become Christian.

I encourage you to participate in bringing others to Christ on this forum and look forward to dropping to our knees and worshiping together.
