Why would anyone be interested in the folk tales of primitive savages?

I was direct. What is it about when I say you can't properly defend your point of view don't you understand? Was it the word "espouse"? Well it means to support an ideology or cause. You support the bible and what it says to the letter. Now, was that plain,clear, and concise enough for you friend?
