Hi, my name is Treniese (Everyone calls me Tre). I am a member of Bethel Gospel Assembly in Harlem, New York. My favorite Bible verse right now is Philippians 4:6- Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

I came to know Jesus when I was younger. The Word of God was my only solace when my father ditched me.

For me, God is not just my Lord and Savior. He is my King, my Father, he is literally my Everything. As a song by Kierra Sheard says, God is my best friend, my boo, and He is my everything.

Anyway, I won't be on much. I usually don't talk all too much, so I'll just be lurking. ... I can't even think about being too polite so I won't bother to say much right now.

Well hello and welcome, young lady! My goodness, we have so much unsaved scum from New York City lately looking for help from Jesus Christ, it must be the end times. Praise God!

I hear Harlem has scads of violent Puerto Rican gangs that shoot their victims repeatedly in the same week! Praise Jesus, you are protected from the half spic/half spook filth by your faith?

    In Christ
Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

Welcome friend, how many times have you been eating chitlins' on Gods day while having to duck searing hot lead?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

        God is your "boo"?

        Is that a black thing?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Another hot mess out of Harlem. What is your favorite fried item that was never meant to be fried, girl?
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Hi, Tre! First, let me thank you for following the introduction forum instructions. Well done! (You'd be surprised how many people can't manage it.)

Harlem is a tough neighborhood. I remember having to wait for a train at 125th Street once, and the cop came up onto the platform and asked me to come downstairs where he could see me. He was afraid I'd get mugged or raped or something, I guess. Of course, I hear it's improved quite a bit since then (1994, I think it was). If you consider Bill Clinton an improvement, that is.

I'm so glad to hear you've learned to rely entirely on Jesus, instead of drugs or pimps or sex addiction or other things that some of our now-Saved friends here have done in their shady pasts.

How do you live for Jesus every day?
                  Bible boring? Nonsense!

You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

                      Dear Trienese,

Welcome to Landover. Your kind of people have a special mention in the Bible. Did you know that Moses's wife Zipporah was a Cushinte? Yes, indeedy! Read Numbers 12:1; it's right in there!!

You will find spriritual help and other guidance here. For example, here is a recipe you could probably use.

                      Buttermilk Fried Carp Fillets

                      2 pounds carp fillets
                      1 cup buttermilk
1 cup biscuit mix or pancake mix
                      2 teaspoons salt
                      1/4 teaspoon dried lemon flakes
Remove the skin of the carp. Take out all the brownish-redish-colored part of the meat, the "mud vein" (this is the tastiest part, so save it for yourself!).

Chunk up the rest of the carp fillets. Place fillet pieces in a shallow dish. Pour the buttermilk over them and let it stand for half an hour, turning the fillets over once during that time. Stir the salt into the biscuit mix. Take fillets out of the buttermilk and pat them into the biscuit mix, covering both sides. Fry fillets in deep fryer or in hot oil in fry-pan for 5 - 10 minutes until cooked through and browned on both sides. Use tongs or slotted spoon to turn them. (If oil is too hot, they will brown too quickly and not cook within.) Drain on paper towels. Serve with lemon wedges if available.

Serves 4-6, so if all of your brothers and sisters will be there, you better double the quantites.

                      DEE-Licious! Hope you enjoy!
Paying for the sins of my hateful parents since pre-birth. Jeremiah 32:18. Now cooking for Jesus as inspired by Deuteronomy 8:3.

Oh, good, it's another "church" that disobeys the Bible on whether women should be pastors.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
