    Hello!

    Hello, my name is Elle
I grew up with very little Godly structure and have recently married into a southern Baptist family. I am now going to church 2 to 3 days a week. My husband said he's going to instil discipline into my life. I'm not exactly sure what he means by this but I do know discipline means rules and consequences (overall structure) which I've never really had so I'm also looking for advice on how to be a good Christian wife. Also maybe what to expect.
Currently my new bible study is over revelations.

    Hi, Elle!

I suggest taking a look at http://christiandomesticdiscipline.com/ to understand discipline better. Also, the women's section on this forum (toward the bottom of the index) is a great resource!
    Bible boring? Nonsense!
Try Bible in a Year with Brother V, or join Shirlee and the kids as they discuss Real Bible Stories!
You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

      Re: Hello!

Thank you, I looked over the suggested sight and it is very helpful showing how everything is related and shown in the Bible. I have to say that I am a bit overwhelmed in how things are supposed to be according to the Bible, how submissive I must learn to become to God and my husband. I will also be looking at the other forum you suggested as well.
Any and all advice is very welcomed.

Yes Pastor, I do have his permission, mostly for reading and knowledge of the Bible and to ask questions. I have to show my husband all of my posts and what I read, he said I'd know if he does not approve of what I say or read.

What are some of the insights that you've gained during your time here? We love to read people's testimonies of the ways in which God's Word blesses them.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

I take it you have been spending your time reading the ladies section and working on pleasing your husband. Are you with child yet?
