Upon what evidence did you decide that this "paganism" (whichever form you've picked for yourself) is truth?
What, can't you answer my simple question, Motty? This is now the third time I've asked.

The concept of burden of proof seems to be too complicated for her.

And I'm not even asking for proof, Isaac! I'm asking for her to explain the evidence she used when deciding to reject Jesus and embrace this "paganism".

Could it be she doesn't know? She's just led mindlessly by her "feels-good spot"? Why have a religion at all if there's no reason to believe it's true?

When I think of Jesus I think of Jesus Torres (Dahvie.) It just simply doesn't seem real to me. I can't give an explanation about that, it's just how I feel. Paganism feels real to me. Maybe to you Jesus is a religious figure but to me it is not.

Maybe your god did rape Mary, why not when Muhammad raped and married a 9 year old girl?

Why should I force myself asleep when I'm far to awake to close my eyes?

I've heard Catholics give exactly the same justification for worshiping plaster statues of Mary. That is, lots of people feel lots of mutually exclusive things. Therefore, those things that people feel cannot all be true. If you can't explain why you consider your religion to be an accurate description of objective reality about God or the gods, why bother following that religion?

Please stop derailing this thread. We are waiting for Motty to explain why she chooses Paganism, and why she follows it or any religion at all if she can't explain why it is true.

Silly boy. That would only apply if the Bible was written by a single author with a story from his imagination. The Holy Bible, on the other hand, was written by many authors who didn't even know each other. However, they still wrote following the same theme, the same belief, no part of which contradicts any other part even though it took centuries to write and the authors didn't work together in any way. You can't explain that.

                        But we can.

God is the True Author of the Bible and He simply compelled different authors to write certain words in just the order He wanted!

Sorry, no. I don't get it.

How can you "be that way"? You had to learn to be that way, how to do certain rituals, and what deities to pray to. What makes you think that they're real, and that they are listening?

It seems you'd be better off as a Humanist if you don't really believe in the deities you sacrifice to.
