Thank you very much for telling me what I like, do not like care and do not care about. You know, God tells us in the Bible we are blessed by your persecution.

What you got wasn't hate for you, it was hate for your made-up religion and indefensible moral, ethical and scientific beliefs.

So you've found the truth (it must be the truth or you wouldn't believe it) but you don't want anyone else to share in it? Why are you so hateful?

Half and half. Many were born into false Christian families, the kind who pay lip service to God but don't even know what the Bible says, let alone follow it word-for-word, and think that plunking their asses on a pew a couple of times a month and throwing some loose change in the collection basket is sufficient to receive salvation. Then somewhere along the line, they took the time to actually read the Bible, and found out that their priests/pastors/preachers/whatever were just lying to them, taking their money, and spouting feel-good gibberish that has nothing to do with the God represented in the Bible. And here they are.

Read the Bible. Don't have one? You can get one at Wal-mart ($5 and up), or for free at your local Baptist church, or even online here. Just make sure you get an authorized King James Version. Two books a day (couple of hours maybe), and you'll be done in a month. Take notes so you can discuss what you've read with the True Christians™ here.

I don't want to even try to convert you. You deserve to believe in what you believe. Who am I to try to take that away? I thirst for knowledge, if I came off rude I'm sorry.. I don't want you to care about my religion. I want to be taught, from one human to another, about why this spiritual path is unique from other Christian branches. That is all I want. Not to convert. Not to spoil the minds of your children or other members of your community. Just learn what you have to teach.

You must be one of those advanced users who skips the instructions and just jumps right in to the discussion.

Everything we have to teach is in the Bible. Read it and obey it. Simple enough.

So, why do you think your religion is right? I really want to know. You seem to be the only Wiccan we've had here who is over 12 and able to write in coherent sentences (check out "Eva" for a typical Wiccan visitor), so I'm hoping you can actually explain it intelligently.

I know there are a lot of older experianced people here who probably know the bible by heart... please excuse me if I was rude... I was just trying to defend myself..

Friend, I know you come from the nanny state of California but life is not all about 'you'. It is about Jesus.
You've taken the time to read the make believe wicca books how to cook up a spell casting stew or eye of newt with cat balls. Can't you take the time to read the Bible and find out what Christianity is all about?

I wasn't trying to convert you sir. Your accusations are false. What have I been saying? I wanted tto expand my mind about religions and I didn't want to exclude yours. Then you started asking me all these questions about why I practice what I do and now I'm trying to convert you? I'm trying to explain myself the best I can to your questions, but mainly I wanted to learn.

I didn't accuse you of trying to convert me.

Try to convert me. Convince me your goddess is real, and your Summerland, and all that.

I invited you to try to convert me. Convince me your religion is right. You believe it, so why should I believe it as well?

After all, if it's true, surely you'd want others to follow what's true, right?
