  • The Disciples of Jesus the Christ

Are you ready to receive the Lord Jesus the Christ as your Lord and Savior? And become a disciple of the Lord Jesus the Christ?

Obedience to all the commandments of the Lord Jesus the Christ is the SEAL OF GOD that you have received Jesus the Christ, as your Lord and Savior.

That is why Jesus commanded His disciples to obey These Words of Eternal Life, as given to Him by His Father.

    John, Chapter 6
27: Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done
abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Re: The Disciples of Jesus the Christ

The 1st Commandment of the Lord Jesus the Christ.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart

Do you understand exactly what this means?

If you love God with all your heart, then there would be no part of your heart that would belong to another or anything else.

It would belong ALL to God. And ONLY to God.

This would mean that the only thing in your heart was your love for God.

This would mean that God would be the only desire of your heart.

That is why Jesus commanded His disciples to obey These Words of Eternal Life, as given to Him by His Father.

    Matthew, Chapter 6
19: Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

    Luke, Chapter 14
33: So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

    Luke, Chapter 14
26: If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

To obey just this part of the 1st commandment

You must love God in deed.

Loving God with your words and not in deed is disobedience.
Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done
abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Listen up, Numpty. Who are you to co me here and ask us if we are ready to be Saved. We already are.

Don't come in here and try to preach.

      1. What church do you attend
      2. How did it feel when Jesus filled you with His Love.
      3. What is your favourite Bible verse/chapter, and why?

At least you appear to be using the correct version of the Bible.
      Isaiah 66:15

        Romans, Chapter 12
1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Do you understand what this means?

This means that once God redeems you that you belong to Him.

This means that you do as He says.

        NOT AS YOU PLEASE.

        All day long every day.

This means your days of doing

the things that bring you pleasure and satisfaction are over.

        GONE

        NEVER TO RETURN.

        THIS MEANS

You can throw out all those grandeur illusions of

promoting yourself in anyway of the ways of this world.

        THIS MEANS THAT YOU OBEY

The Commandments of the Lord Jesus the Christ.

This means that from the time you get up till the time you go to bed...every day ...all day long...YOU ARE HOLY TO THE LORD.

        IN HEART MIND AND SOUL.

        with all your strength.

        Everything you

        DO

        SAY

        THINK

is to be Holy to the Lord.

            1 Peter, Chapter 1
            15: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16: Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

            Ephesians, Chapter 5
            3: But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4: Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5: For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6: Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7: Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

            Ephesians, Chapter 5
11: And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12: For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13: But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14: Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15: See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16: Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

            Colossians, Chapter 3
5: Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7:In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8: But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

            Colossians, Chapter 3
1: If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2: Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

17: And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

            1 Corinthians, Chapter 3
16: Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17: If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

            Romans, Chapter 8
1: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

12: Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13: For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

            Romans, Chapter 8
5:For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6:For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7:Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8:So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

            1 John, Chapter 3
8: He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10: In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

That is why Jesus commanded His disciples to obey These Words of Eternal Life, as given to Him by His Father.

            Matthew, Chapter 6
31: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

            Luke, Chapter 14
27: And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

            John, Chapter 12
25: He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

YOUR HEART AND MIND AND LIFE BELONGS TO GOD.
Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done
abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I know the Bible, son. I want to know about you.

Where do you go to church? What kind of animals do you kill and eat? How many sons has your wife grunted out for Jesus?

You aren't coming across as a "wise old man" here, son. Copying and pasting verses from the Bible isn't proving anything. What church do you attend? How many children do you have? How old are you? Fourteen?

                            How original.

And if "He" were writing, as opposed to YOU, then "He" wouldn't write "whom" when it should be "who". Only teenage boys pretending to be adults do that. Frequently.
