Re: Hello there!
Amen too friend. "Therefore we can conclude, since there is no evidence of such a God, that He exists." We can conclude that God is not always present to bless one with his presence. God exposes the hearts of the seeker. God knows whether we will accept or reject Him despite whether He is there to bless or not. Question we should ask ourselves, am I receptive to God and if so when God reveals Himself to me will I obey Him? God already knows and this may be the reason He has not revealed Himself! After all, He is all-knowing!

Re: Hello there!
Amen, friend. You are very astute for an unsaved slant. Atheism is riddled with contradictions and faith based claims. Further more, as you pointed out, atheists believe that they themselves, and their leaders, are gods. This is of course ridiculous, since atheists are hardly competent to grasp even the simplest nuances of the Bible. But they would have to be omniscient to know that God exists, since God deliberately hides Himself. After all, if there was a just and omnipotent God with a plan for everyone and everything, there would be absolutely no evidence of this fact. Therefore we can conclude, since there is no evidence of such a God, that He exists.Originally posted by Shimei View PostYou realize that as an unbeliever meowpik, you claim to be omniscient and omnipresent. That is, one must be all knowing and everywhere present in the universe to know that God is non existent. How else can one be certain that God does not exists? By your elementary argument, you claim to be what you disagree with as existent.

Re: Hello there!
There is no "out" here, Mr. Much. I've read these passages a number of times, both separately and in context, and I have yet to find how they apply to the sin of rape and abortion, with the exception of the last one. The last verse explains one of the reasons marriage to the "rape" victim is compassionate: "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD." (Deuteronomy 23:2) Since the married woman would not give birth to a bastard child, he would therefore not be barred from entering into the congregation of the LORD.Originally posted by Didymus Much View PostSo what's the True Christian™ "out" here? God's not a person, so human morality doesn't apply? Or that He's not actually killing them (until He resurrects them to cast them into the lake of fire for eternity, which is the "second death")?

With a name like Meowpik, I'd been hoping your introductory thread would contain cute pics of cute kitties. I love cats!Originally posted by meowpik View PostHello, God-hating atheist here.
Not trying to argue over the existence/non-existence of God or any of that, I want to inform you all that you are terrible people. The views that you have on real-world issues are simply atrocious.
1. Homosexuals don't need to be saved. They're people, but they simply have different tastes than you. It's like you people are being Nazis, only instead of Jewish people, you're going after God-hating atheists and homosexuals.
2. Rape victims should marry their rapists? Are you kidding me? Being raped is a traumatizing experience. The rapist should not be rewarded, but prosecuted. Also, what if the rapist is gay? Should he be stoned or married to the boy he violated? Hm?
3. This one is a bit less of an issue with me, and others, but women should be able to abort their child in the case of rape. That child would simply be a reminder of the tragic events that transpired with the woman's rapist. Instead of forgetting of the rape, she would be constantly reminded every day.
Thanks. I guess.
Sadly, your introductory post didn't even contain a proper introduction, much less photographs of adorable felines.
I'll give you a second chance, though. Please tell us what church you attend, which Bible verse most touches your heart, and how you came to know the Lord.
(And if you want to throw in a precious kitty photo or two, I certainly won't be complaining!)

This is the result of poor parenting, my friend. An 8 year old is in no position to make such a judgement. I suppose your parents are God-hating atheistical fools too?Originally posted by meowpik View PostI didn't. A young child needs constant exposure to the truth of God's Word in order to realize what inherently filthy and corrupt sinners all children are from birth. Once a tot understands this, it is so much easier to realize that a higher power in God did indeed create all we see and gave us the precious gift of free will. A meaningless life of misery and despair in wicked and degenerate sin and then death. Or the chance to sit beside Jesus in Heaven for all of eternity, praise Him!
Will you confess the sins that stain your filthy soul and character? Can you kneel in front of Jesus this very day and receive His unconditional warm gift of love and Salvation? We are praying for you.
In Christ

How can we have a friendly discussion with such as you?
2 Corinthians 6:14-15, 17 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
God tells us to shun you so shun you we shall!

Hitler thought he was doing good for his country and the world....I think I have pretty good morals, and that makes me decent, in my opinion...
