There is a user on Youtube with that nick. All the videos associated with this user are of a ‘My Little Pony’ kind (I feel really filthy after having seen this). I really hope that the aristobleus of Youtube is NOT the same as the one here at LBC.
I think they are one and the same. Have you seen this post in the thread My Little Pony - Satan's Newest Recruitment Vehicle?

The character in question is coloured after that of a rainbow. She is meant to be female and heterosexual, and (as a pegasus) entirely real. (Though she is characterised as a tomboy by some critics.)

I doubt that this is an intentional reference to any flag. This is the 4th rendering of the character which originally dates back to the 1980's, and I would think that it predates the flag to which you refer.

I'm a very poor christian, and a sinner, but I still feel that if christians are to criticise a childrens' television show then it should be from a rock solid base of fact. To me this feels like it might be a misunderstanding of the character.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my comments. Please forgive my use of U.K. English spelling. Yes, I am using an alternate spelling of one of the names of an obscure king in the Bible as my log-in.
He admits at the end where he got the name from. Although no King Aristobulus is mentioned in the KJV, Aristobulus IV and Aristobulus Minor, the son and grandson of Herod the Great respectively, were alive around the time of Christ. Very unusual choice of a name, given that Herod was a homicidal maniac who slaughtered many innocent children (Mat 2:16a) and that God visits the iniquity of the father to the third and fourth generation (Ex 34:7).

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Mr. North. Aristobleus is such an uncommon name, I fear these people may be one and the same.

The videos on that page are deeply troubling. I suspect our new friend suffers from some sort of infantile regression, a pathological need to return to his or her preteen years.

I will include this person in my prayers.

It's good to see someone else from Perth on the forum.

I'm curious about your username. Is it a play on Aristobulus? If it is, I'm curious why you would choose it. The name is only mentioned once in the Bible.

Rom 16:10 Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus' household.

No one knows who this person was.

Tell us about your church. Good Baptist churches are hard to find here in Perth. Many have become liberal, allowing women to preach and lead the worship service. What's your favorite Bible verse? What first attracted you to Jesus?

Are you a Greek or a gypsy? With a name like that, it's gotta be one or the other.

Welcome Astro Blue. I have to tell you, that is the first time I have ever seen a name like that! Tell us of its' history, I bet it is exciting!

Only True Christians™ are good Christians, everyone else is either a heathen, a fluffy bunny Christian or a demoncrat.

Why in 23 years of marriage were you able to generate only a single son. Were your genitals crushed at work? How many grandsons has your boy given you? Are you close to them?

I agree about HBO. You can put Starz, Cinemax and the rest of them together as sin. We only watch Jerry Falwells' Liberty Old Time Gospel Hour on channel 3, though it has been reruns for some time now.

What can we call you, friend?

    Aristobleus' Introduction

My apologies, I'm still getting the hang of this site. My klunky internet connection is not helping.

I am Baptist living in Perth, Western Australia. I have been married for more then 26 years to my wife Shelley (we were married in Mosman Park Baptist Church Western Australia). We have one son, 23, who has left home.

I used to be a network designer for the Halifax Bank of Scotland and The Bank Of Western Australia, but since the financial crash and the disappearance of HBOS I've been getting by as a Traffic Controller.

I'm not a good christian. I'm a sinner. Only Jesus' love and forgiveness keeps me alive.
