Common sense about God? What do you mean. Are you trying to say that God lies to us and that half of the Bible should be ignored? Tell me, how did you learn this? How can I possibly guess what God wants if I want to go to Heaven? Tell me Damien, how do you know?

James what do u think when god says, "love thy neighbor." What does that mean to you? Who could he be talking about?

      That has already been answered.

please use common sense also god is not gonna spoon feed u everything there are things out there you have to learn for yourself as well it's part of growing up
If that's what God wants us to do, then why does He take every opportunity to say the opposite? The Bible by itself contains enough teaching for salvation:

Romans 1:16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

2 Timothy 3:14-15: But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned [them]; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

As for following our own common sense, here is what God says:

Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Besides, as I'm sure you've noticed, people who rely on "common sense" to determine God's will end up believing in multiple, mutually exclusive things, which by definition cannot all be right. Why would God want us to rely on something with such a poor track record? If we had to do so, we'd have to guess at which brand of "common sense" is right and thus guess at what is required to avoid hell. What sort of loving God would make us do that?

Real Christianity is not religion it's a lifestyle. Real Christians have a relationship with god as a father would with his children it's the same thing.
Oh, so you are not a Christian just a fluffy bunny smiley face. That is very different. See Damien, I love God. I know He placed us here on His Earth by His Divine Will©. He gave us choices, clearly written in the the Bible (His Holy Book).
To real Christians, God is not a father that buys you GI Joe's with the Real Action Grip™. God is a leader that loves us as a General loves His troops. We are all expendable to accomplish His Mission. I am sorry to know you do not have religion in your life. It must be very shallow.

Damien, to people that read the Bible, that is a very small part of "Law and the Prophets". God has His disciples talk about this in many passages in the KJV Bible but you probably did not know this because you skip most of His Word, focusing instead on the parts about ice cream.
Did you ever read this before Damien? I am sure a smart guy like you is familiar with it:
        Romans 15:2
Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

This seems pretty timely, what do you think?
        Matthew 18:15-17
15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I think it would be wise to not tell me what to say she is a lady so I called her lady plain and simple

Damien, any reason you are incapable of responding to my last post to you? It is rude for a child to ignore an adult, expecially when that adult is ordained by God Himself and is a True Christian(tm).

You think there's something missing from the Bible?

                Add these two verses together:

2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

Deuteronomy 4:2 "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you."

Revelation 22:18-19 "18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part * out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

                Bible says no.

Dear, your thought process isn't explained by open mindedness. It is only explained by the sin of pride. Rather than accept the LORD knows better than you, you simply believe the LORD agrees with you. Well, in your mind you've convinced yourself that you agree with the LORD. A look at Holy Scripture will reveal the shortcoming of your belief.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

No, it won't, not for you.

We've already given you the link to Pastor Nathaniel's entire sermon on who is our neighbor. We will try to save your soul, but we will NOT repeat ourselves. You are a prideful little boy, and like most arrogant little snots, you assume you know things when you don't. Stop wasting our time and start reading.

Jesus already regrets creating you. Don't make Him kill you (Luke 19:27).
