If you click on the link Pastor Ezekiel referred to me in the first post it is stated anyone who talks to a episcopalian on the forums will be shunned. However I have since repented of being a episcopalian. I do not have a husband because my parents don't believe in such a thing. However I was looking for guidance about it.

In a year or two NO ONE is going to want to make you their bride. You will be destined to be an old maid. Why would you want that? As a newer member here I can attest that reading the KJV of the bible will answer ALL of your questions. Addressing Church elders with respect is very very crucial in having a fulfilling experience here on the forums. One last thing...the sooner you realize that God has created you to be obedient to your husband and to keep a highly efficient kitchen in working order, the happier you will be. Welcome to this Forum. And, as some did before me, I advice you to repent and leave this Episcopalian! They are sinners trough and through. Read the KJV and you will see the truth.
It would be great to find another sister in you, praising our almighty Father. I ask you for your own sake, repent from those sinners and do only what God says, and only that. He is our savious and everything we need.

As you can see, God clearly wants us to be married and serve our husband! Dear, if your father refuses to find a good husband for you, I am afraid you have to look for one by yourself. But if you turn out to be a good christian and you are in a good age, I think you may have chances to find a good husband, who will teach you right and who you can bake some pies for. Doesn't that sound beautiful?

Sir, my parents are presbyterian and I have always felt that the "church" had been telling me lies. To answer your question - what I meant when I said my parents don't believe in such a thing, is that because they are presbyterian - they don't agree with the idea of arranged marriage! I repented last night and am praying for acceptance and forgiveness from The Lord. I purchased a copy of the KJV 1611 bible last night and have begun reading it! Thank you!

Im sure your husband can't wait to get his fingers into your pie. You seem to have a good grasp of your husbands needs and as a man of faith, I can tell you nothing beats a wife who cooks and keeps an orderly house. Keep up the fine work you do for your husband and keep letting him sample your pie and your tasty cakes.

In fact, nothing makes me happier than to see my husbands face, when he returns home to a clean house, his warm dinner waiting for him on the table, a hot piece of cherry pie as dessert and his beautiful little daughter awaiting him to tell him, what she learned about the bible that day.

Oh my!! Allison, get away from this website and never return. If lies is what you are looking for this is the forum for you. These people are not true Baptists and think that Science is evil and that all women should be homemakers. You sound young in your posts explore more religious virtues if your not finding your faith in your current religious institution. Go to the library and get a book that explores some of the thousands of religions out there.

I have stumbled upon this site and was appalled by what I read. I have known many faiths and this definately is not the way to go.

I am Episcopalian which is a branch of the Christian belief. I go to Very White Episcopal Church and my favorite bible quote is John 15:9-17.

"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another."

It's quite a long quote but the meaning as I interpret it really speaks to me. I'm looking for guidance, I am at a young age. I am 14 and the form of Christianity I am currently being brought up in is quite different to the views of Landover Baptist. I am very open to your views and looking for a clearer and more direct religion and deeper connection to God such as what I see here on the forums. Any suggestions , comments, or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. Your "Church" is noted for its schisms, Methodists & Brethren to name but two, and the travesty of female clergymen is well known. You do seem to be seeking a better understanding of God's Inerrant Word and obviously you're not going to get that from people who don't read it (or who do read it but conceal what it says from you). Naturally I will not be commenting or intruding "opinions" but am happy to post Scripture with context and trust that you will soon learn to distinguish truth from falsehood as you grow in His Perfect Love.

II CORINTHIANS
3:17b where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

It is easy to find out what The Bible says: just read it. Verse 3 (above) explains how come the false church of England acts in a way and teaches error not supported by The Bible. God did not want that to happen but they did it anyway. When Jesus returns He will be killing people who deliberately ensnare others (such as archbishops of Canterbury) along with all varieties of heathen.
