Hello LaflamaBlance. You say we are in an age where people care more about killers and thieves and liars and that is probably true but it does not matter what people think it matters what Jesus thinks. Here is what He said in Revelation 21: 7-8:

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

So all you need to do is overcome your temporary setbacks and He will take care of those people. Keep your chin up.

I am 21, and a father of two that recently lost his job. looking for ways to pull my family out of this mess we are in. I lost my job last week. Our electricity payment is due, our rent is late, our car has no gas. The food and formula in the house is starting to run out.

I am very sorry to hear of your misfortunes, Brother. It's possible you've just caught God™ on a bad day...do you know how hard His™ job is? Do you know how disheartened and betrayed He™ must feel sometimes, when He™ seems man/womankind running amock with sin?

Perhaps you can take comfort in the fact that He™ has not killed you? (see below) It is something.

Genesis 8:21And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

On the other hand, it is just possible that you have been born pre-destined for damnation. I will say prayers that this is not so.
