Before you do start a new post, please use the search function. Although bringing up a 6 year old post just to say "I agree" or "no" (as a certain troll was doing last week) is looked down upon. If you have new insight into a topic that has already been covered, feel free to bring it back up.

          Re: Hello, everyone!

          Hello, good people!

I don't think this question is worthy of a thread, so I thought I would ask it here to not waste space.

If I were to use social media to spread the Word of God, would the Lord be offended? I have started a Facebook page regarding the correct interpretation and application of the Bible (literal of course!), but I am concerned this may be wrong for a woman. As 1 Timothy 2:12 prohibits me from teaching, does this extend to sharing the Word via social media? I have already roped in a couple of unsaved souls and hope to reach them, but do not want to offend God!

Could a man wiser than me please advise?

The important thing is that you don't start posting "sexy pics" of yourself on Facebook. Please forward all of your pics to me for review prior to posting.

Thank you for your advice, Faith_Machine The only picture on the page is the one I have changed my avatar to. I hope it could not be interpreted as "sexy", my fiance says I look frightening when I'm filled with Jesus, although I can't think why!

                Re: Hello, everyone!

It's nice to see that you have long hair

1st Corinthians 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

Why are you holding your finger up like that though? Just curious.

As for your fiance, keep trying to get him into the flock. Or I would seriously consider calling off the marriage.

2nd Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

I hear your concerns regarding my fiance...it worries me that he has no desire to join me in evening Bible Study. He says it's because of my "Bible Fever". I will pray for guidance.

Friend, it may be that your fiancee is a homosexual, looking to use you as a front and keep his anal underpinnings on the "down low" (the fact that he hates Jesus indicates this). The rectumography of sleeping in the same bed as a homosexual is most treacherous! You don't want to marry a man who is going to sodomize you into aeternal damnation, do you? There's no need to repeat what the Bible says about homosexuality. Actually, yes, there is:

                    Leviticus 20:13

                    King James Version (KJV)

13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
I can never be reminded enough how serious the crime of anal rape really is! It must be avoided at all costs. Neither does the Lord care who initiates the homosexual activity. If he rapes you in the wrong end, it is only because you opened yourself up to anal rape through habitual contact with a homosexual!

I do not speak from experience when I give you my personal guarantee that there is no greater joy in life than kicking a homosexual lover to the curb, for Jesus to kick on down the line to Hell! It is not too late to rescue your backside from piteous mutilation. Some of us aren't so lucky.

I love it when a person is so filled up with the Lord that you can see it in her eyes!

Well if you do go through with it, realize that you're taking on a heavy burden

                        1st Corinthians 7:10-16
10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.
16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

Then if things don't work out, you're kind of stuck as even Jesus says that women cannot divorce their husbands.

Matthew 5:31-32 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Nowhere in the Bible does it give a woman the right of divorcement.

I'm not trying to discourage you, but just realize that getting into a marriage with a nonbeliever is something not to be taken lightly. Your only hope would be that he would either mend his ways and become a True Christian(TM) husband, or that after many years of heartbreak he leaves you...

1st Corinthians 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

Maybe you should talk to the pastors about getting your fiance away on a men's weekend. They seem to have a number of those.
