And about respect, I show the most I can, or rather most of what they deserve since they threat me like bullshit just because I don't think like them in some important things, but I don't mind, that don't upset me, in fact, they just give a good laugh, something really needed in this times we're living now

I believe in those things because I'm a tolerant person, I think God created al of us equally so all of us deserve the same respectOriginally posted by Pastor Isaac Peters View PostI'm sorry that you feel so put upon because people ask you to explain why you believe what you do.
I don't believe the women is less than a man
I don't believe gays are evil or that they should be murdered
I don't believe a black and a white person couldn't get married, they're not the same race, but they're both humans, so they can have children if they want
I don't believe children are property and that they can be beaten even to death just because with it they will be "saved"
I don't believe humans are the only ones who deserve the heaven, if we came from the same God than animals, then there's space in heaven for them
I don't believe that something must be evil just because is new (pokemon, video games, movies, etc)
I don't believe our religion is the only one, there are lots of cultures in the world and we should learn from them
But the most important of all of this is that I absolutely don't believe that religion is a excuse for violence, discrimination and hate, all of us are sons and daughters of God, and this world is for love and being loved, to be a good person meanwhile we're here, and that's all
God is love, God is not hate between brothers but the symbol of what is good and pure in the world, and if we must hate something, lets hate murderes, pedophiles, people who burn forests, who hurt women, children, animals, old people, handicaped people, those people need a punish
God is our father, and as a good father, He don't wish that his children fights or hurt each others, did he?

Why is all about what YOU believe? What about Jesus? You selfish, conceited degenerate greedy bastard. Typical third world inhabitant. Take, take, take.

Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

But you see, God does not bless sodomites. He blesses select women who have been Saved in childbirth. God does not bless animals (and animals are not angels, they are different species, dear). God wants us to love our neighbors, not everyone, not you. You are ignoring God's Word and instead assuming your ideas are also His. But it's not God you are talking about.
It is the god you created in your own imagination.
Your god is imaginary.
Try this experiment. For one week, pray to your god. Give him thanks, praise him, ask him for favors. Write down if and when and how your prayers are answered.
Then for the next week, pray to a jug of milk in your refrigerator. Give it thanks, praise it, ask it for favors. Write down if and when and how your prayers are answered.
I'll bet you all the money in my coin purse that there will be no difference. Your praying to your imaginary god will procure no more "answers" than praying to a jug of milk. You will find that what you see in reality is a coincidences clouded by confirmation bias.
Then come back to us, and we'll share with you how to be Saved(c) for real.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Re: Hi
I have a different vision about God, and my vision is not better or worse than yours, just different. God is very, VERY powerful and huge to be enclosed in a single vision. I don't know if I'm making him happy or not and you don't have how to know it either, I'm just doing what I think is ok basing me in my values and principles, that's called having a conscienceOriginally posted by Mary Etheldreda View PostBut you see, God does not bless sodomites. Sorry if you think I have some kind of "imaginary God", but just because you don't understand something then you can use that as an excuse to discriminate another people, that is not a solid argument to support an idea and you must know it
Think different is not a sin, but discrimination, and I know what are you thinking and no, I don't have a versicle in the Bible to support what I'm saying here, you can say I'll go to hell but I don't care, you're not God to judge me or sending me there

Re: Hi
Jaververia, my dear, have you read the Bible? What did you think of it?
How did the Bibles vision of God compare to your vision of God?
Were they the same, or different?
If they were different, in what way did they differ?WARNING:

Bible was written 2000 years ago, visions change and people don't remain the same in lots of aspects, I don't see God as a destructive being which destroys anything that is not perfect or tell you to sell your daughter as a slave or kill your wife just because is not the woman you though she was, I think in God as a good spirit which wants the best for all its followers
And about the Bible, I think is a really good way to have good values in life thanks to its stories, but some things must not be taken so literally and we must stop the fanatism, if you don't stop that nonsense maybe it could even end with you killing a person or starting a war with innocent people, believe me that no trial in the world will declare you not guilty just using the argument that "I did because it was God's will"
I'll say it again, God is not an excuse for criminal behaviour or discrimination, laws allows the freedom of religion, but if you're abusing of that freedom then you deserve a punishment. Try to close the Bible just for 5 minutes and think by yourselves, your mind is too important to waste it

Christ could return in those five minutes and we'd be found disobedient and be sent to burn in eternal fire forever. The Bible tells us to ALWAYS observe his law...Originally posted by Jabalí View PostTry to close the Bible just for 5 minutes and think by yourselves, your mind is too important to waste it
"6And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates." (Deut. 6:6-8)
"O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day." (Psalm 119:97)
If you wish to go to Hell, go right ahead.

We are very much against murder here, so much so that members of this community have been repeatedly spit upon, beaten, harassed, threatened, and jailed for committing no greater crime than trying to stop unborn children from being murdered.
Now then, I'm very sorry if I mispronounced your name, but surely you understand that was unintentional? Is it considered some big sign of disrespect in Mexico if a poor, dumb foreigner such as myself can't get your name right on the first try? If so, I did not know that.
Regardless, I think you should relax and stop being so obsessed with whether you're getting every crumb of respect you think you're entitled to.
Did you ever see Jesus Christ going around demanding that people respect Him? Read the Bible, dear. You'll see that He was a very humble man. He didn't demand that people respect Him, He earned their respect through His deeds.
You think you have the right to be respected by everybody just because, but Jesus only encourages you to give up your perceived rights. He preached in a society where the right to exact vengeful justice upon those who've wronged you was taken as a given. Read the following verse, and see how the Lord wants you to refrain from exercising your rights:
Matthew 5:38-39
38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
He adopts a similar stance when He encounters a crowd preparing to stone an adulterous woman to death. Surely, the wronged husband has a right to see her die, just as you feel you have the right to be treated with respect.
Open your heart to Jesus, though, and you won't be burdened with the constant need for respect.
