I want to start by saying hello and talking a bit about me.

I used to live a sinful lifestyle( I took part in homosexual activities). But a few months ago I found this forum and I've found some of the posts really inciteful and it made me think about my life. The past month I've been praying everyday and I haven't taken part in one homosexual act. I've really been trying to let Jesus in. Reading this forum has really helped.

I've been reading the scripture and listening to the posts on this forum. I just still hope I can be saved for all the bad that I've done. I don't know how much Jesus is willing to forgive but I really think my life has started along the right path. I think the key was realising that noone is born homosexual and I had just been making bad choices, choices I now know Jesus wouldn't approve of.

I think I still have a lot to learn but I hope you're willing to accept me as part of the community. I've made other lifestyle changes recently too, I've made sure to surround myself with lots of female contact and focus on work a lot more.

Good morning! I'm happy you have decided to leave the sodomite deathstyle behind...I made the same choice, and it was the 2nd best decision I ever made (accepting Jesus Christ as my Savior is number one!).

Where do you go to church, friend? What is your favorite Bible verse?

What church do you go to? Are you married? If so, how many children do you have? What is your favorite Bible verse?

Thank you for the warm welcome. I currently don't attend church, most churches in England are terrible : P

I instead pray from home, I've been looking for a local church but most where I live are entirely at odds with what I've read on this forum and the bible.

I am not married, as I said I only recently left the homosexual lifestyle; my hope is to obtain a woman as soon as possible.

As for the favourite verses; I was going to ask for recommendations, especially those related homosexuality and/or substance abuse( both of which I've struggled with). I'm rather new to all of this but from what I've read; Jesus can help with any problem I have.

Leviticus 20:13 will be the best start

But you really need to read it all cover to cover and learn it (even the lineages).

Regarding homosex, Leviticus 20:13 is the most obvious one.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

I knew of Leviticus 20:13, that was one of the first things I heard from the bible that really struck me that I was doing something wrong.

As we get many potential ex-queers come to our most friendliests of websites it is often encombent on the successful ex-gays to detail exactly what excruciatingly painful experiences the have had during their period of man steel obsession.

People need to know what not to do. I'm currently teaching my eager young Nephew all about the gaywise as a means to give him the precise information of exactly what not to do.

I want to keep him safe from drooling, predatory, penile perverts, you see?

I think it's better if I don't detail the Exact acts quite yet; as that may lead to temptation. I'm still quite newly reformed and part of this for me has been avoiding past habits and avoiding thinking about the acts. My hope is that in time I won't have such temptations at all and then maybe I can begin to help others on their path towards Jesus.

Which Corinthians is this? Because I couldn't find this exact quote in neither 1st or 2nd Corinthians. Also, it is general rule that we quote from the King James Version here and not those more recent false translations.
