I am blocking all porn related pages in my facebook timeline. I no longer feel the urge to masturbate.

No, I am not a true Christian (I'm Catholic) but I do know that God forgives anyone as long as you open your heart to Him. The problem is, most of the time we don't: we just shut God out and move on. But when we truly open our hearts and love God...trust me, Robert, it feels amazing (the few times I have felt it.)

It' all very well to say that God forgives but if you keep sinning your are a sinner. A True Christian(tm) is free from sin.

When one becomes an ex masturbator it means no more masturbation. It does not mean going each week to a filthy paedophile in a box in a Ctholic sin station to tell him your dirty little habit so he can get off on it

I have been a sinner all my life(so far). I have been doing drugs watching sinful movies/websites on the internet. Also have been playing with myself regularly.
I have been doing all that devil told me to do all my life.
Now I want to change and follow Jesus because Jesus is our only savior.
Do you guys think Jesus will forgive me? Please guide me to the path of Jesus.
Do you think there is hope for me?

Welcome. I believe you are a troll but I want to answer anyway because the acceptance of masturbation is a very big problem in todays society.

I quit it too and didn't find it difficult to stop this habit. When you become a Christian, you will enter a whole new world, so many fascinating things and thoughts, wonderful loving people like the ones on this forum, and also those you meet in real life.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. - 2 Corinthians 5:17

When you're truly touched by Jesus you no longer want to touch yourself (at least I don't). As long as you have the longing to masturbate you may be on the way, but you haven't truly found Jesus. I hope you find Him.

I did indeed masturbate, but I learned to beat it the Biblical way. I follow the example of Jesus.

In Matthew 4, Jesus was tempted by the devil, but He resisted. The Bible says in Hebrews 4:15, "For we have not a high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."

In Hebrews 3:7-8, we read: "Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness.

Whenever I feel lust and an urge to masturbate, I get my picture of Jesus. I want to look at Jesus Christ in temptation is because we know He's been there, and we know He's wise enough to show us the way out. Hebrews 2:18 says this, "For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted." See, he's been there.

So do as I do. When I feel my heart harden (Hebrews 3:8), I get my picture of Jesus. I can feel Jesus succouring me (Hebrews 2:18). And then, as I stare long enough at my picture of Jesus, I always overcome it.
