My nickname's Mox, I'm an atheist and an ex-catholic. I came to this forum, as I am interested in your religion(hence the 'curious' in the thread's title), particularly as to why you are the correct religion out of all.
The church I used to go to during my time as a catholic... well, that's in Poland(I'm Polish), and so you won't be able to pronounce the name
I have read the bible, though it was a looong time ago, and so I plan on rereading it again soon, simply because it's an interesting read(and is also the base of christianity and it's offshoots). And so I don't have a favorite verse.

Tell me, are Polish priests competent enough to carry out the rape of a young boy, or do they mess it all up? I could imagine a Polack priest trying to stick it in your ear, for example.

Well, I was never raped a priest
But I would imagine that any sex-deprived priest would try to rape a child attending its mass. So to answer your question, I do not know.

The Bible says they are. The fact that 30,000+ other denominations of "Christianity" claim the same thing (and that all others are damned for believing in the wrong God, or worshipping Him wrong) is irrelevant.

Your English is more than good enough to handle the KJV, so I'd recommend it (I'm assuming you earlier read a Polish language version of the Roman Catholic canon?). Start here until you can get a hardcopy (they're cheap, or free if you have a Baptist church near you).

I recommend the King James Bible, please keep in mind that as an unsaved atheist, you must not even attempt to debate us (This is NOT a debate forum) use the handy search function if you have questions, these two points are vital because as an atheist you never do any good and you are corrupt and a fool (Psalms 14: 1) I use that verse very often because it is very useful.
At least you are not in the evil Catlick church, hopefully soon you will pray for Jesus's forgivness.

There may be other "correct" ones (the worldwide search for new True Christians(tm) is ongoing) but Landover is the only one that follows the KJV Bible to the letter (Matthew 5:18) that I've found. The Catholics have an entire subforum dedicated to their heresies; exposure of the Biblical errors committed by other faiths can be found using the "Search" function, available at the top of every page.

I'm not defending Christianity, I'm defending Landover's view of Christianity, which is what the Bible says it should be.

When it comes to Christianity, if you ignore the Bible, what have you got?

Now I'm curious about what it is exactly that you're curious about. This is a forum where the truth is offered. I came to learn more, to deepen my understanding of that which God requires of us all, including you. I too was once trapped in Catholic doctrine and thereby blinded to the truth. It's not Jesus' fault the Catholic church doesn't make any sense. Why turn your back on Him?

Absence of evidence does not equal evidence of absence. And if you'd bother to read the 1611 King James Bible with your heart and mind open to deep penetration by the Holy Spirit, you'd begin to see the truths contained therein. Every last word is true and inerrant. It is God's own words and He does not make mistakes, including you who He is intentionally using as a perfectly good example of the path to hell. So I guess it's not your fault you're doomed.

Seems pretty clear you've been duped into atheism by God Himself. Maybe you can plead your case to Him. It might be worth a try. It is, after all, up to Him to whom He will shew mercy.
