    Hey Guys!!

    Hey LBC,

Im new to this forum thing on the internet as ive only just moved out of my birth-home and i wasnt ever allowed to use the computer! my father was born in iraq, but raised a christian, thank God for his salvation. He married my mother here in England and i was born two years later. I have a brother, but he doesn't believe, he believes only in science and his heart has been poisoned by blasphemers like Dawkins and his gang. My parents try to talk sense into him, to make him see the error of his ways, so do i but he just gets angry and says that he's allowed to believe whatever he wants. He doesnt realise we are doing it for his own good.

Anyway i thought this forum might help me find advice on how to help save my brother from hell. Normally i wouldnt waste my breath on an atheist, but he is my blood so i must. I try visit my local church in Falmouth every day but its hard to when i'm at university here. So many of my peers dont have my beliefs that i often have to go alone. I try not to treat them differently, but sometimes its hard to hald back my sadness and anger at their ways.

My favourite bible quote is Psalm 23:4.
'though i walk through the shadow of the valley of death i will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff comfort me'. This protection is why i am a christian.

I found Jesus while walking on the beach, i saw a crab scuttle under a rock and realised that it will never be saved, for it is merely a crab, he will spend his life hiding from everything, from all the things that are bigger than him, he can never know the true love Jesus gives us, and the protection and immortality that comes with it. I realised that it is our ability to love Jesus that lets him love us, and if we dont love him, how can he love us back?

    Amen

    Re: Hey Guys!!

Welcome, Barney! You must be very keen if you try to get to church every day. As long as you get there on Sundays at least, I suppose it's okay. Are you planning to get married soon, now that you've moved out of home?

        Re: Hey Guys!!

If you want to reach your atheist brother, show him the folly of his position. It is ridiculous to believe everything came from nothing, which is basically what atheism teaches. Just remember that deep down, your brother really knows God exists (Rom 1:18-32). But there are many helpful threads on the subject, all you need do is use the search function in the menu bar at the top of the page.

So what denomination is your local church? I hope it's not Anglican.

Son, The Lord hates a lazy man, and if you ask me, there's almost nothing lazier than not using your SHIFT key.

So, let's try and show Jesus a little respect by using correct grammar on His favorite forum. I mean seriously, He died so that you could be Saved(c), is pushing a button before you type the letter 'I' too much to ask? I don't think it is.

Hello Cap'n. I didn't know that the shift key did that! I have been using caps lock this whole time. I'm still getting used to the computer

            This was better though, right?

Also Pim, worry not, it is Baptist. But most churches in England are Anglican, or Methodist.

YOU FIGURED IT OUT!! I'm so happy you decided to show Jesus your value by using capitals, especially when referring to yourself. Of course no one is above our Lord and Savior, (Deuteronomy 10:17), but it is correct to capitalize the first letter of sentences, or when using proper nouns.

Oooh, and Caps Lock is for YELLING, so unless you are yelling about how much you love God, it's generally frowned upon in these forums.

Bless you for listening to your superiors!

                    Hi, Barney!

Welcome, and let me say, I appreciate the wisdom.

If we don't give up absolutely everything in our lives and become slaves for Christ Jesus, then we can never be on His Good Side™ (Matt. 25:33; I Cor. 7:22).

                    Pastor Ed
