My Introduction.

Hello, I am Geopelia.
I go to the Christ Church in Newcastle, Fenham.

My favorite quote from the King James Bible is: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." That quote I feel; really relates to my situation.

I was a sinner; I used to take drugs and I also drank a lot at the mere age of 15. This behavior continued until I reached 16. I had gotten close to a very sinful young lady and one night she tried to get me to fornicate with her. However, I remember seeing images flash through my mind; images of me throwing up after drinking so much alcohol and images of me while under the influence of drugs. I changed my mind and left; leaving the sinful woman to rot in her own filth. I remember the sunset that night; I suddenly became very happy and full of joy. Suddenly my life was so clear! I felt that God was with me; I was never a believer before however that night I felt that I was being watched over by forces beyond my physical being. The following day I did something I never dreamed of doing... I went to Church. After the service finished I felt truly happy for the first time in my life. I walked up to the Pastor when almost everyone left to thank him. I told him the story of my life and he sent me home... With a King James Bible clutched underneath my hand. I've been studying the King James Bible and I've been attending church whenever I had free time. I have took it upon myself to pass on the word of God to everyone I meet so they too can experience God's glory as I did. Thank you for reading my (long) introduction, I hope to meet more friendly and wise Christian brothers and sisters.

Welcome, Geopelia! That was a heartwarming testimony. How many sons are bringing up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord? And why have you named yourself after a dove?

I named myself after a genus of doves (Geopelia) because I remember seeing a single zebra dove (Bird watching is one of my hobbies) flying towards the setting sun on that fateful day. I think God sent that dove as a symbol of freedom; free from drugs, free from alcohol, free from sin.

I'm going to assume you forgot to put the "you" between "are" and "bringing".

To which I answer... None. I have not found a suitable Christian woman yet; It's near impossible to find a committed Christian woman in the United Kingdom; most "women" in this country only care about how much alcohol they can drink before passing out.

Because I am tech savvy with computers I have came up with the idea of creating Christian video games for primary school children so I can educate them about the Glory of God and His Son; Jesus Christ. Too many kids these days play violent video games created by Satan and his lapdogs. My mission is to use my skills and create a video game suitable for Christian children; in a way; I am battling Satan. This fact motivates me to continue creating the game. Begone Satan!

It is an avatar; I used the image of one of the hosts of my favorite Christian related chat line show. I don't think it's a good idea to post my real image as Satan is everywhere. Satan is trying to take over the government so he can exterminate all of us!

As I live in the United Kingdom I cannot legally own a firearm. I'm not a farmer therefore I cannot obtain a license either. I would love to hunt my own food however at this present time; it remains a fantasy due to the UK laws. One day I hope to move to America so I can buy a rifle and store it in my house. Every God fearing Christian should have a rifle in their home to not only hunt but to protect their families against any harm. I was very lucky to have seen a Zebra Dove due to the fact that they're mostly seen in Asia. Are there any fellow bird watchers out there?

I'm not here to "pick up women". I'm here to praise God, Jesus Christ and to befriend fellow Christians. I actually suffer from social anxiety and I've found that talking to my fellow Christians boosts my confidence and most of the time; me and the acquaintance/s usually gain knowledge from each other. At church last Sunday, I met a fellow Christian man called Jacob; I accidentally brushed past him and he dropped his Bible. I apologized and recovered his Bible for him. We got talking and the next thing I knew we were at a cafe drinking dad's old fashioned cream soda and talking about our lives and how we found God. He used to be a drinker but one day he had a stroke (No lasting damage) and for the first time in his life he prayed; "Please God, if you deliver me from this... I will never drink again." Anyways back on topic; Dr Laurence Niles in this occasion I must tell you (with God as my witness) that you are wrong about my motives. I am here for friendship, praise and knowledge. The day isn't complete until I've learn something. God bless.

Well I'm in my final year of education (Just about got my A level double IT diploma) however I've already got a job in the IT department; I work as a technician for my college where I'm studying funnily enough. I was hired by the college because out of five other tech savvy my skills and attitude was the most preferred (Without a doubt, God aided me). I have an acquaintance in my college; his name is Patrick. Unfortunately he is imprisoned by the same vices that I was once imprisoned by; alcohol and drugs. I'm trying to introduce God to him (In a manner of speaking) and hopefully he will find his own way in life and forget about the vicious cycle of drugs and alcohol. I like to help people whenever I can and the feeling of knowing you've done a good deed... Amazing... Praise God! Unfortunately there are some understandable people in my college. There's a classmate called Gary and he was walking behind me. I opened the door in front of me and held it open for him. "F*ck off" He says as he walks past. I'm happy though because not only have I done a good deed but also; God will without a doubt punish him. I provide my IT repair skills to my church and its members for free whenever possible. I repaired the speaker system for my church once; the look on Pastor Chilton's face was truly magical. I've found that whenever I prepare my own food; it tastes nicer... The same principal applied to the repair speaker; that service was one of the best I remember! I value honesty highly; if I'm late for a lesson/lecture or if I purposely/accidentally miss a lesson or day of college I will not lie. Praise Jesus!
