Hi, Sarah, sorry to hear about your husband's passing. Your son must miss him so... Do you have a brother, or a married sister, you know, a man who is close to your family, so your son would have someone to look up to and learn to be a man from? Sometimes, that is what is missing in a boy's life and he rebels. The folk here who are telling you that your son needs discipline are correct, he absolutely does. Hi Sara! Welcome to our forums. I have many children myself, and so I know they can have very challenging dispositions. But I also know if we do not raise obedient children, we raise fools. The problem with raising fools, besides the fact that fools bring danger to themselves and those around them, is that they are headed for an eternity of suffering if they do not straighten up and accept the LORD Jesus Christ as their Savior. We know that those who have Jesus in their lives are made into new creatures (2 Corinthians 5:17). These new creatures are creatures that no longer serve the flesh, but serve the spirit (Galatians 5:17).
