I am I was just saying and using the quote because he judged her to be a lesbian when she did nothing of the sort. I was just saying that he should be careful, because if he judges people based on the way they look then he will be judged the same way, that is all. I didn't misunderstand anything, just a friendly warning. It is all good though, because we all make mistakes, even I do nobody is perfect Romans 3:23

Of course I do its really hard though I wont lie :/. I have given up SO much for God and Jesus. Like for example, videogames. Most videogames are all about competition, killing, looting, stealing etc. Yea, the hardest thing for me right now, is not being competitive or trying to be the best. I cant find the Bible verse right now, if you want I will find it, but basically striving to be the best or #1 is VERY bad. And yet I train Martial Arts and used to go to tournaments trying to win first place, obviously because you win right? Oh well. But yes Brother, I do have the diligence to read the Holy Bible cover to cover and follow it's rules. Thats why, compared to most, I read so slow. I dont go further until I've mastered whatever is taught. For example, you know how long it was for me to learn the commandment of honouring thy Father and thy Mother? After all the thing my Birth Father did to me as a child? However, I've gotten over it. What I'm working on right now is turning the other cheek.

So may I ask Brother, what are you working on currently? Nobody is perfect, and I find when I get good at one thing and keep improving, I lack in something else and have to go back and fix it again, and again. It's almost as if you can never be 100% perfect, but can try your best to be as good as you can possibly be. God bless you Brother, and thanks for this intellectual conversation.

Can you back that up with scripture please Didymus? Because I'm pretty sure that we are all imperfect beings. But, I think you may be referring to this quote from scripture Matthew 5:48 However, it also says these things Didymus: Romans 5:8 Ephesians 2:8 1 John 1:9 1 John 4:12 and especially John 3:16 Romans 10:9-10

So basically, yes Jesus says we should be perfect, but at the same time we can not acheive perfection. But what does Jesus mean by perfect? If we read earlier in Matthew 5 it makes perfectly clear, lets start at Matthew 5:33-34 Matthew 5:35-36 Matthew5:37-38 Matthew5:39-40 Matthew 5:40-42 Matthew 5:43-44 Matthew 5:45-46 Matthew 5:47-48

What Jesus is saying when hes referring to these things is God's commandments and God's laws. Be perfect by following all those laws, and if you mess up he will still forgive you if you earnestly want to be forgiven. It's not BE PERFECT OR BURN IN HELL, nobody is perfect, just keep God's commandments, and treat everybody like Jesus instructed. That is it. It isn't that hard.

I read that entire post as I am an avid reader and run a nice christian bookstore. Upon investigation I am a little worried about you "Born Again Christian". If you have had no real father to raise you and were raised by your mother alone, it leads me to suspect that you are a prancing little pink shirted boy who likes other men. Such sin is not tolerable in Landover I am afraid. Having half your blood be impure (especially the important father's side) scares me. Alas, I hope you are right minded.

Friend, you seem to have a issue with being a bit mouthy.
People are Gods possessions. We are as perfect as He allows us to be. Are you trying to tell us God is imperfect?

If you click on the "True Christians™ are Perfect" in my above post, you'll be taken to the thread (it's called a "link" in 'net speak) where Pastor Jones has shown that the Bible says that True Christians™ are perfect, and if you're not, you're not a True Christian™.

And as to your "BE PERFECT OR BURN IN HELL", that's what the Bible says, too. See James 2:10.
