Hello,

Some of you may know me from the science section. Thought I would do the best thing and make an introduction of myself, even though you won't like it. I'm 31, moving to America in a couple of weeks with my degree in Astrophysics (That's why science wins!) Religion has always been a big part of my life when I was a child, teenager and adult. Mainly, the rejection of it. Now, that you all hate me (I'll be waiting for the "You're going to hell" comments), I'm glad I made this post for all you Christians to see an introduction of myself.

The reason that we remind you of your inglorious fate is in hopes that you will change it. We hate what God hates and love what God loves.

We'd love to love you, but you'll have to renounce Satan first, which you can start doing right here by formally and publicly renouncing his sinister ways.

You can take baby-steps; first, renounce the theories of sexual and natural selection. Then move onto forsaking Indolic Biochromes, and from there, nonsensical lies like the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.

Your new degree can be in the KJV Bible and you can travel the world convincing people like your former self of why just one line from the Sermon on the Mount has more Truth in it than MIT and Harvard put together and multiplied times 10.

Astrophysics is a degree? It takes about 5 seconds to realize the heavens move the way God wants them to. Nothing else need be known about it. The firmament is up there, we're down here.

Firstly welcome to the forums, I haven't been around much as of lately so I have catching up to do on the reading!

I think you're putting too much devotion in God. It's sad to hear.

Out of all of what you said this stuck out to me the most, how can you ever give God to much devotion?. All he has given us and still does, you think that giving him your devotion is sad?.

Wow, so they apparently teach people how to troll Christian forums in Fagstrophysics nowadays. I already knew the education system was on a slippery slope but I never would have thought it would come to this.

I agree the education system is on a slippery slope by not teaching people how to read properly. It's called Astrophysics, not Fagstrophysics. In addition, you should really find out what Astrophysicist do before you give assumptions which are pointless.

How exactly can you be an astrophysicist if you deny the existence of outer space (firmament)? Are you actually admitting that your silly little degree studies things you don't believe in? Well, that's too bad since he believes in you. You are doing his work everyday. Even now, he smiles and laughs as you carry on about how intelligent and educated you are. I guess you think slinging your white coat over a dislodged root on your way down to Hell will pull you back up to safety. It won't.

How can anyone believe in secular science? They change their theories all the time! One decade scientists claim one thing and later on they'll claim right the opposite and the decade after they'll change again and so on. So how can we know that the current claims are true? Truth is unchangeable, the opinions of scientists change all the time, so science must be wrong (as long as it contradicts the Bible)!

I agree, it is really crazy. On one hand I kinda admire their blind faith in their cause of the hour, but I really don't understand how easily they replace the target of this blind faith from the theory of yesterday to the current fad of the secular world.
