    Hello my fellow Christians.

Im fortunate enough that I was browsing the net and came across this Christian site. I was bouncing around the forums, reading all the post and thought "finally I found Christians that think the way I do". It was not long before I singed up and a new proud member. I was born a Christian from both Christian parents. I was baptized at birth and will be a Christian even after death. I quit going to my local church due to a number of new accepted gay members and members of other religions. I will be looking forward to visiting your churches in the future.

    Re: Hello my fellow Christians.

Hello, welcome to the forum. Why did they baptize you at birth? Mark 16:15-16, John 6:44-45 are just two of several Scriptures that indicate that a person who is to be baptized has to hear and UNDERSTAND the Gospel, which a baby cannot do. To be baptized involves a conscious decision by a person who resolved to follow Christ after hearing, understanding and accepting the Gospel.
Joshua 1:6: "Bee strong, and of a good courage: for vnto this people shalt thou diuide for an inheritance the land which I sware vnto their fathers to giue them".

Then you for the welcome. I knew mentioning that would create a bit of a stir. It always does. The denomination that my parents attended did baptize babies. I was one of them. I don't know if that was a good thing or bad. But at least it was into christian and nothing else. I was baptized again at 15 when I was fully aware of my decision to dedicate myself to god.

        Jeremiah 1:5
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
Jeremiah 1:4-6 (in Context) Jeremiah 1 (Whole Chapter)

even if i was born into a family full of atheists God called me to believe in him before i was formed in the womb.

What is your favorite Bible verse? Also, have you considered attending a solid Bible-believing Independent Baptist Church, where you can show your obedience to God and serve the body of Christ? Hebrews 10:24-25, 1 John 1:7, Psalm 150:1-6.

              Re: Hello my fellow Christians.

I have many different verses I love. The verse that is my favorite is the one that I can relate to at that moment. With that said my favorite changes as I change in life. As of right now my favorite verse is Genesis 1-11, Jude 7, John 10:10. I ready Psalm 23 every night for that is the prayer my parents read me every night as a child. I would not consider it my favorite.

John 10:10 is one of my favorites, too, along with Psalm 100:1-2 and Isaiah 40:12. You said, you quit attending your church, so have you found the right place of worship?

Unfortunately, as of right now I do not. The area I live in has changed drastically over the years. Along with that the people and churches changed. I live in Tamarac Florida which use to be a pretty small quiet town. I completely decided to leave my church last week with the arrival of a few new members. I feel god led me to this site for a reason.

Hello friend, what shall we call you? And do you have a favorite hunting rifle? What about a wife? If you don't already have one, I might be able to suggest a few possibilities.

Hello. I can go by my god given name Andrew. I do have a few hunting rifles but none of them are my favorite. Some are better long range, and some short so I like them all. I am currently not married. It is very difficult to find a christian woman now a day that is not tainted. I am open to all suggestions.

This is not a suggestion, it's an order: ALWAYS capitalize words like "God" and "Christian" when you make posts on this forum. Jesus reads these threads you know.
