Openly saying those facts aren't true sounds like telling lies. You said your whole family believes this, ergo you have a family of liars.

Based upon that logic, you being Baptized is thumbing your nose at the God you mock.

The definition of lying changes depending on what you believe in, I chose to believe in atheism and evolution, and because of my beliefs if I saw something that disagreed with what I believe in that had no solid proof behind it I would most likely believe that person was not telling the truth.

The truth is what we choose to believe, the truth is what we make of it, that's what I go off, no-one is wrong, they just believe different things.

I did read the passages given, I would never be that disrespectful.

You see we both believe and swear by different things, I'm sorry if I sound a bit disrespectful here and I humbly apologize.

I believe that the universe came into existence by the Big Bang, and evolution has lead us to where we are now, I do not believe in a Heaven or a Hell, I do not know what happens when we die. I believe these things because of my upbringing as a child, what I have been taught in school and what makes sense to me.

You believe in the word of God via the Bible, and I'm guessing that will be partly because of your upbringing, what you were taught in school and what makes sense to you as a person.

I would like to believe that there is something after death, but I find Heaven and Hell to be impossible.

I envy how strongly you believe in something like that, I really do, it must be nice to know how to live your life and to know that you're going somewhere when you die. I guess that's part of atheism, uncertainty until someone finds proof for it.

I thank you for the time you're spending on this thread and replying to my posts, I will say now that I wish you the best of luck in your life, and I hope you are eternally happy, I'll be going to sleep soon, getting quite late.

Had there been proper Bible study and Prayer in that "school" of yours, you would no doubt understand that an effect must have a cause, and that something cannot come from nothing as in the big bang. God is the Cause and we, His children are the effect.

One last retort before I go, I am British and not a supporter of any of our political parties, I believe the facts presented to me.

With the Big Bang coming from nothing there are some theories behind what caused it, but no solid proof, that's the one pitfall.

In my school we never had Bible study, and we only prayed during assemblies as it was not a fully religious school.

And about Heaven and Hell, I guess no-one will ever truly know until you die, and then you can't tell anyone.

I did not follow a proper instruction because, as I stated earlier, I am expecting something bad to most likely happen to my account based on my views and from what I have seen others get banned for on this website. Let me explain: You know the existence of this concept, you are not ignorant of the identity of Jesus Christ. You simply do not accept this to be any more than a story, a mythology no more valid than that of the ancient Greek gods, and so reject its credibility. You can play all the word-games you want with yourself, but none of this will get past the LORD. On the day of your Judgement, He will see either your sin-encrusted soul, or He will have offered to turn a blind eye to it forever (Isaiah 43:25). The only way for that to happen is to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior (Romans 6:23). If you don't, the soul encrusted soul will prevent you from experiencing anything but an eternity of righteous punishment.

The only reason to reject the one and only way to avoid this punishment is to rationalize to yourself that committing your particular sin of choice isn't so bad after all. So I'll ask you again, what particular, vile sin has corrupted your mind and shackled your soul?

If not acknowledging the existance of God and Jesus, therefore not accepting their love on the basis that I believe that it is non-existant, then yes, I guess technically I am rejecting their love, you've got a point there.

An actually I am not an angry person, quite the contrary actually, and I don't have aspergers either, well in the eyes of all of you I'm not using it as an excuse to be lazy.

The only sin I can now think of would be rejecting the love of God and Jesus, but if Hell exists and I end up there for my beliefs, then so be it. I don't want to have to live my life by rules, if I go to Hell I'll go knowing I enjoyed my life.

I myself do not actually live in Newcastle, I live in a small town a few miles away, it's just the easiest thing to say. Here there are only a handful of women who go out like that, but they are the ones with parents on benefits and with a below-average IQ. In the winter it gets quite cold here, so they go outside less, but when they do they dress normally with denim jeans and coats.

And my username is part of my dad's side of the family. When he was young his name on the arcade machines was ELT as you could only have three letters. I put The infront of it and that's how it came to be.

I actually live in scotland, and it's someone's idea of hell since I hate jesus. Scotland has beauitful scenery, the best whores on earth, more queers than Paris, and plenty of Jameson, but my mother is the biggest whore in Glasgow.
