I saw a message recently babbling about dogs yapping, and I will address it by opening up MY BIBLE at random and quoting the verse that strikes me as the ONE that contains the most meaning of the moment. I will say as a preface that printed on the cover in golden letters are the words "PLACED BY THE GIDEONS" and while I don't really know who they are or how they work anyone that is spreading the word of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY is pretty good in the little spiral notebook that my grandfather used to use to transcribe our sins as children.

I opened up THE BOOK of JOB, which is slightly interesting because that movie about the autistic opens tomorrow, and what do I find but notes from decades ago, made by myself.

I will take note now of Job, Chapter Two, Verse Six, and quote it now:

AND THE LORD SAID UNTO SATAN, BEHOLD, HE IS IN THINE HAND; BUT SAVE HIS LIFE.

As a historian, I must observe that I wrote "waht?" on the margin and circled the last word in the sentence, which was life.

Because I recognized my mission immediately.

You should try to make more sense, you know, in the future.

Re: I have decided to return after an extended absence.

That joke about Star Trek in the future always made me chuckle, but it is racist in nature and Jesus loves all the little children, like that song in Sunday school that I learned a long time ago.

      Jesus loves the little children,
All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
All are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

      [Alternate refrain:

Jesus died for all the children,
All the children of the world.
Red and yellow, black and white,
All are precious in His sight,
Jesus died for all the children of the world.]

      Jesus is the Shepherd true,
And He’ll always stand by you,
      For He loves the little children of the world;
He’s a Savior great and strong,
And He’ll shield you from the wrong,
For He loves the little children of the world.

Nothing will ever let me forget this song, because it is how the power of the Lord rings true.

        Not all children

        Matthew 15:4-7

4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
        5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

Only the obedient ones. Dishonor your parents at your peril

I had such joy reading the thread title - anticipating the story in the Bible (KJV1611) about the Prodigal Son. What a disappointment - he's just as unrepentant as ever. Go pound salt Coleridge

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

            - Luke 15:18-24
            Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
            ...and get off my lawn

I'm sorry. I could scarcely catch that in all that bold and highlighted mess.

I think you are saying that Jesus only wanted His apostles to understand His words? If I am correct, and you are not speaking in glossolalia again, only the original twelve or so truly understood Jesus.

That is a rather exclusive club. I certainly hope you don't think Jesus only spoke in indiscernible mutterings to you and yours.

Indeed it does ring true, brother. Our God is love. He is not that dour infant head dashing monster of the Old Testament.

I have nothing to repent for outside of my lack of humility in being such a better Christian than you all.

Not so indiscernible to those willing to live the message.

You make the mistake of taking everything line by line, which is not an uncommon trait of the deliberately obstinate. The Bible must be taken as a whole, and internalized.

Proverbs 3:1-35 - My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

                I like you.
He makes about as much sense as you, you're peas in a pod

If that is the analogy you wish to pursue, every 'infant' has fits of rage, as well as amazing beauty and unexpected grace. Most parents seem pretty enchanted with their young, you would tell them their progeny is a monster? God is more precious than any baby, and more beautiful in his splendor. The idea is to obey Him, then there is no need for head dashing.

An interesting claim, as you think The Bible is nonsense, and that Jesus was a rambling incoherent madman. Those are two of the big ones of Christendom, without em, you're just strange, or a secular jew or something

Yo, you do realize that our side is winning, correct? It won't be long before patriot militias come to power in the U.S., and all unsaved scum such as yourself are deported to countries like Canada, Switzerland, Sweden, and Japan. Then we'll see how long you last when us Christians are no longer supporting your heathen lifestyles. I bet you'll only last 2 weeks over in those hellholes!

Code Redemption is temporarily unavailable. We have top agents working on it. Please try again later.

Also, I have noticed your little comment in the upper right hand corner about laying with fags in a bed. It is a form of projection, and sort of surprised me.

I met a fag once, he was purportedly into math, but they found him in the second year hanging in the stadium and his clothes were neatly folded on the floor nearby. There was a story that he went to bed with this girl that was really into the Beatles and he couldn't get it up, and it is a natural fact that he was a member, so to speak, of the church of Scientology.

His name was Paul and he had long hair, like a girl.
