I come to this forum, in search of Christians who love God. But I find the exact opposite here. I can see that you have been 'flamed' more than once. But I have a different approach. Because, I in fact DO believe in God, and love him very much.

But what really gets me angry, is how ungodly this forum is. I saw one forum, talking of a father who would cut his sons hand off, because he had caught him masturbating. You do not think that is a sin?

I live and serve God by one rule. And every time I arrive in a situation that seems rather sinful, I ask myself, "would I do this in front of God?"

Would you cut your sons hand off, in front of God? Would you beat your child in front of God, because he had sworn? Would you insult another for different beliefs, in front of God? Insulting someone to belittle them is just as bad as masturbation! And Gosh, have a seen a lot of belittling on this website.

So, don't act like you are sinless and live for God. For instance, you all say you are followers of God. But have you ever helped someone in your entire life? And not for God, but to make that persons days better? I bet that most of you would not be able to answer that question.

I want to conclude my statement with a final tip. If you really serve God, then stop living your life in the way of the devil. Instead of trying to convert others into your extremist ways, help out at a local supermarket, or help an old lady across the street. I will not say that you are going to hell. Even if you were to kill someone, I would not say you are going to hell. Because the fact of the matter is that I OR NO ONE ELSE can condemn someone to that fate.

Bull, it says it in the Bible! Because the Bible does not choose who goes to hell and who goes to Heaven. He does. so stop acting like you are more entitled, or better at predicting someones fate. Because then, you are in fact saying that you are God, yourself. I have never seen such sin in my entire life.

This forum has a lot of hate in it. God would not applaud you for this forum. This is horrible.

If you do love God, why do you neglect His Will? Why do you snub His Divine Desires? Why do you essentially call Him a Fool and Liar? That's not love, dear, that's just cruel.

Son, a parent's love for their child knows no limits. No matter how painful it may be, a loving parent would do anything to ensure their child's safety. Eternal safety is no less a concern, just because the parent cannot see the ramifications of their child's choices and have to take it on faith that they do exist and are really real, and are really awful.

We've already established this is not true. Your one rule is pleasing yourself, by virtue of keeping your emotions within relatively safe parameters.

Why do you think God tells parent to employ strict discipline if He wouldn't want them to use it (Proverbs 20:30; Proverbs 22:15; Proverbs 23:14, etc)? That doesn't make sense.

We are as sinless as Christ Himself, which is to say, True Christians™ are perfect. After all, it is Christ who lives in us and animates each and every thing we do.

Welcome friend! You have come to the right place to find people devoted with every once of their being to Jesus Christ. We firmly follow the Word of God (as does any Real Christian). some, think that we should not. They think you can be a Christian by picking and choosing what pats of His Magnificent Word to follow. Ridiculous, isn't it! How could anyone (other than God) know what parts He thinks are 'Ok to ignore', that the Holy Ghost was 'just kidding' when He had them written. No, if God did not want us to follow His Book, he would of had a chapter on it or at least written something on the dust jacket.

Yes, we are flamed often, sometimes by people like yourself whose spiritually clueless nature prevents from reading the Bible and taking it to heart. The Bible tells we are blessed by your self-righteous persecution (2 Tim 3:12; Matthew 5:11-12).

No, it isn't a sin because Jesus Himself taught hand chopping off (see Matthew 5:30).

Proverbs 13:24 - He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Ephesians 6:4 - And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Proverbs 22:15 - Foolishness [is] bound in the heart of a child; [but] the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

Proverbs 29:15 - The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.

Proverbs 23:13-14 - Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

Proverbs 19:18 - Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.

Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Second, you have yet to quote any Scripture in support of any of your positions that criticize the approach that we take here. On what do you base your conclusions about what is Godly and what is sinful if you do not reference appropriate Biblical passages?
