Hello. I more commonly go by "Vegas" but it was too short, so I figured this was appropriate.

I am not interested in being coaxed into religious belief, nor am I here to put down the beliefs of others. I would just like to have a stay here and meet some of you to get some perspective on who you all are.

    See you around.
John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

This is a site for praising Jesus and His temporary sacrifice He so selflessly made to save us from our inbuilt sin.

If you do not want to do that I can't faathom why you are here.

    God bless.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Well all I can say is read the Bible(KJV1611) and you will know what we are 'about'. It really is the best book in the world: all answers can be found within.

I don't imagine I'll get to it. I can never bring myself to finish a chapter when I start. Hopefully I can pick up what you fellas are putting down just through this.

Well there's the thorny issue. The only way to understand Jesus is by reading the Bible(KJV1611).

One of the problem that the young folk have today is that they rely on other people to tell them what to think. Many liberal Christians today advocate cherry picking which bits abut the Bible they accept and which bits the ignore.

2nd Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"
Deuteronomy 4:2 "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you."
Revelation 22:18-19 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
Psalm 12:6-7 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."

Did you know some so called Christians think that being gay is okay?

Leviticus 18:22 "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."
Leviticus 20:13 "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
Romans 1:26-27 "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet."

This is why any True Christian(tm) will admonish you to read the Bible in it's entirety and not to skip bits (even the lineages) and follow it exactly.

            Definitely no interpretation.

            God bless.

Well, therein lies my reason, as I have no intention of understanding him. Not any more than I think I do, at least.

We are Christians, friend. That should provide perspective.

It is hard to believe that you would come to a Christian website and try to engage the members in conversation for sport. Surely you have other pressing duties. Perhaps you should consider the possibility that you have been led to this site by Jesus Himself, that you may be saved.

You live in a nasty, crime plagued city that is inhabited mostly by gamblers, wine bibbers, prostitutes and Mafia members. Even you, in your self title here, refer to the evils of sin that blankets your city like a filthy, coal fired smog. Las Vegas is an abomination before the Lord and you are part of it. Shame on you!

Here are the facts: You are unsaved and have no apparent interest in salvation. You live in one of the wickedest cities in America. You are clearly Hell bound.

That is the bad news. The good news is the Good News. Jesus Christ died for your sins and all you have to do is acknowledge that fact and make Him your personal savior. Accept Him and enjoy eternity in Heaven with God and Jesus, where a fine picnic lunch is served every day and you will be free from want and worry forever. Accept Him not and you will burn in the fires of everlasting perdition.

For me, it's an easy choice. How about you? Got Jesus?
God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

I will never in a thousand years understand this dynamic: people who come here who do not share anything in common with us.

It makes about as much sense as me joining a needlepoint forum.

That's really clever, the "S" word corrects to "Biblical"

Definitely knew it was biblical too. Anyway, Jesus is one of the last people I have interest in opening up to. That being said, I'd be happy to open up here and there on the forum.
