I think enlightenment is a better word. My interpretation leaves my beliefs at the discretion of what I learn, not what I'm taught.

66 books in the KJV, read two a day, about an hour's worth of reading (most books are really short), and you'll be done in a little more than a month.

What version are you reading? The KJV is the least narcolepsy-inducing for me (I love the elegant, in places poetic, language), whereas the NIV and others are used dishwater lifeless dull.

...Hopefully I can pick up what you fellas are putting down just through this.

Are you ok with coming off like some lazy, filthy, obese Mexican lezbo who can't make time for anything but tamales and vile pleasures? Because that's how you come off.

As Brother Niles pointed out, reading and understanding are paramount to your being Saved©. You can stick around and try to soak up bits and pieces, but if God means anything to you, and you indeed want to expand your "perspective," then why not make the effort to see what God wants of you?

Is it really so much to ask with all eternity at stake?
