Ah, yes.

My favorite Bible passage would be from the Old Testament, Exodus 22:18, "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."

On a related subject, I recently read that a few overzealous Christians in Africa have started burning witches again. Not that I advocate those particular tactics, though I do confess a certain nostalgia for the drama and pageantry of the Inquisition.

Perhaps worst of all is this awful man's sacriligious suggestion that even atheists would be forgiven by God. Atheists! This is in direct contradiction of Church dogma, and is typical of the sort of foul heresies that have been allowed to eat away at the magisterium of the Church in the years following the Second Vatican Council.

Dear, if you knew anything about Catholic theology, you'd know this foolishness is completely acceptable to your papist cult. You people change your theology as quickly as a woman changes her mind. Why, it wasn't too long ago (relatively speaking), that your pope advocated putting to death unbelievers:

The death sentence is a necessary and efficacious means for the Church to attain its ends when rebels against it disturb the ecclesiastical unity, especially obstinate heretics who cannot be restrained by any other penalty from continuing to disturb ecclesiastical order.

Oh, but wait...

A sign of hope is the increasing recognition that the dignity of human life must never be taken away, even in the case of someone who has done great evil. Modern society has the means of protecting itself, without definitively denying criminals the chance to reform. I renew the appeal I made most recently at Christmas for a consensus to end the death penalty, which is both cruel and unnecessary

If a single religious institution cannot be bothered to maintain at least the facade of continuity in belief, then how can they be trusted to lead the faithful, much less comprehend themselves, on matters of conscience and Salvation?

Your church has a history of compelling people to convert to their papist cult under duress from making non Catholic rituals illegal in Rome in the year 392, to Charlemagne's forcing the Saxons to convert to his papist cult under penalty of death in the 8th century, to the Crusades, through the Spanish Inquisition, to the Goa Inquisition of the 16th and 17th centuries, to the Native American Boarding Schools in Canada in which children were kidnapped and forced to adopt Catholic culture and religion.

But of course today, your cult has once again changed its mind in response to the whims of its pagan moral code, in which the newest CEO, your beloved Pope Franny is in complete conformity with the guide book of your cultish rules:

Nobody may be forced to act against his convictions, nor is anyone to be restrained from acting in accordance with his conscience in religious matters in private or in public, alone or in association with others, within due limits." This right is based on the very nature of the human person, whose dignity enables him freely to assent to the divine truth which transcends the temporal order.
