I understand, but what reason is that? What if your parents were wrong? Are you really willing to base your life and your beliefs on an accident of birth?

Is the wolf at fualt for eating the sheep when that is all he knows? Growing up you trust your parents to lead you down the right path. Did you ever stop to question your parents? Most children won't.

As I said before, I understand that you were raised that way and probably never questioned wicca as a child (we weren't all lucky enough to be born in a True Christian(tm) household), but now that you're an adult (I'm assuming you're an adult), don't you think it's time to challenge your beliefs? A quick google would show that wicca has been debunked. What is there to gain from clinging to false beliefs?

There are sites that debunk every religion out there. Doesn't mean they are true, according to athiests we are both wrong. Are they right or is it what they believe? Yes I have questioned it, yes I have had my doubts, but I always find new ways to keep faith in my beliefs. And to whom ever is changing my info, real mature. Grow up, this isn't grade school. I thought this was a site with responsible adults.

I can almost sympathise with you there. I'm always having to find ways around facts and evidence and other things that would undermine my faith. It's a struggle to keep coming up with new arguments as to why the facts are wrong and new reasons to reject evidence.

Are you one of those wiccans that believes in a goddess?

Why is it that so many people who utterly reject Christianity claim they've joined this site "to learn"?

This makes absolutely no sense. If you reject the very foundation of everything that we on this site know and believe, then you must, by extension, believe that we are not in possession of the truth. Therefore, you must also believe we are incapable of teaching you anything of value.

So, therefore, I must ask you what, exactly, you mean when you say you're here to learn?

Please don't say you're here to learn about our beliefs, because you've already established that you reject our beliefs.

Are you secretly an anthropologist, come here to study us?

Or are you just like all the other God-mockers, trying to learn about us so you can make fun of us?

Thank you for that link, Dr Pendergast. I never thought to see anyone, least of all a British bureaucrat, described as

That's the real problem with any religion isn't it? Proof, what proof do we really have other then our faith? But here goes, the world around us is proof. From the wind in our hair the soil beneath our feet, she is in every creature, plant, and pebble. She guides and nutures us as any mother would. When we misbehave the punishes with fierce storms and long dry spells. When she is pleased she rewards with rain and a rich harvest. Only to name a few. The goddess is all around us.

The Bible clearly states that there is only one God and only one valid religion, ours. You say you reject no religion? Well the only way you can avoid rejecting ours is to follow God's instructions and reject all others.
